They Can’t Stand To See Him Win
Upon hearing the news of Voldemort Zelenskyy’s tiff in the oval, my first thought was who told him to do it. By all accounts, the diplomatic process had secured a minerals agreement and a stepping stone toward peace. Russia would have to give back some of Ukraine in the end (I suspect) but would likely retain two parts that are both ethnic Russian and overwhelmingly voted to secede.
And no NATO.
Europe and the American military complex, led by the swamp, which is led by the Democrat party (this is one of those good wars), want the conflict to continue. Ukraine has been a heck of a money laundering operation, and they could care less what happens to human lives on either side in a war Ukraine can’t win, but that could escalate to Europe and the West.
Zelenskyy loves the spotlight. He is no longer the constitutionally elected president (no elections during the war, he says). He banned most of the opposition political parties in Ukraine. His government seized control of all the media. And at least $100 billion in aid is missing. It didn’t go to the war machine or human suffering or medicine or teaching children to hate Donald Trump. And now Zelenskyy wants 250 billion more, so I guess the offer to step down if NATO lets Ukraine in is off the table?
That was one of Russia’s conditions. No NATO, and they’ve got good reason. When the Soviet Union collapsed, NATO promised not to move east then enrolled more than a dozen nations they promised to leave alone. Almost every one of the former Soviet Eastern Bloc states but Ukraine. Given how anti-Russia the EU sounds, especially these days, if you were Vlad the Impaler Putin, what might you think they had planned?
Ukraine was filled with US money, CIA hangout, and lots of American and EU meddling, and they’d like to get it up and running again.
So, someone made promises to Voldemort. A phone call, perhaps (no transcript this time), or several meetings with EU insiders or Dem third-party operatives. Voices that said they would support him if he just said no. Make the TV star and comedian the hero again. He’d get the last laugh. In other words, if you keep letting Ukrainians die as your nation is reduced to rubble, we’ll work to keep you in power.
I suspect the application of at least a few disgruntled swamp octopi (lots of tentacles). And all anyone can talk about is how Zelenskyy stood up (to the third button on Trump’s shirt). Media headlines, network news leads. And whatever you do, do not mention how Mexico just extradited 29 cartel bosses to the US for prosecution, including one who killed a US DEA agent (no winning allowed).
It seems that Mexico, at least for the moment, values a friendly relationship more than an adversarial one. So did Panama, Columbia, Venezuela, et al., while Europe is looking to be our enemy, especially after JD Vance gave them the big finger on Free Speech in Munich.
We’ll need more popcorn if the EU wants to trade America for Ukraine.
And plenty of Ukrainians would rather die than let Russia win, and that’s healthy up to a point, but do you know why you are at war? Why did Russia invade? Have you been told the truth, and would you give up Donbast or any other majority Russian province for peace and security guarantees from all sides? Given the government’s media control, do you know the current war’s footing?
Has Zelenskyy told you the truth about why Russia invaded? Your buddies in the EU and NATO. Joe Biden swearing Ukraine would join. Zekensky’s friends might be your enemies.
Some do, and not all Ukrainians appear as happy as American Democrats and their handmaiden media after the Oval Office display. There are rumblings that Zelenskyy needs to go, which makes sense in any nation with a government that controls everything, including ruin. I’m sure Russia is behind it—that’s what they’ll say. Just keep in mind that the global left’s record on such charges is less than stellar and likely projection (where China stands in for Russia as the authentic influencer of The Left in every performance).
And Trump ran on ending the war, as much to stop the fiscal bleeding as to pursue peace. Americans voted for it, but Democrats – just like wanting boys in girls’ sports and making excuses for government waste fraud and abuse have picked the wrong side. We believe in sovereignty and democracy, but none of that currently exists in Ukraine. Zelensky is throwing lives away at great expense to taxpayers when peace and security are both possible and reasonable.
But the globalist left doesn’t want any of that, and neither, by the way, does China.
