UN Study: Female Athletes Have Lost Almost 900 Medals to Trans Opponents (So Far …)

Try not to act all surprised, but according to the United Nations in a study called “Violence against women and girls, its causes and consequences.” women who were not born with a penis are losing to “women” who were born as men – at sports.

A few highlights from the UN.

  • Women and girls in sport face widespread, overlapping and grave forms and manifestations of violence at all levels.
  • When eligibility norms are deliberately violated and when the risk of injury to athletes is knowingly increased, the physical harms sustained can be characterized as “violence”
  • Injuries have included knocked-out teeth,14 concussions resulting in neural impairment,15 broken legs16 and skull fractures.17 According to scientific studies, males have certain performance advantages in sports. One study asserts that, even in non-elite sport, “the least powerful man produced more power than the most powerful woman” and states that, where men and women have roughly the same levels of fitness, males’ average punching power has been measured as 162 per cent greater than females.
  • The replacement of the female sports category with a mixed-sex category has resulted in an increasing number of female athletes losing opportunities, including medals, when competing against males. According to information received, by 30 March 2024, over 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions have lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports.
  • [P]harmaceutical testosterone suppression for genetically male athletes – irrespective of how they identify – will not eliminate the set of comparative performance advantages they have already acquired.31 This approach may not only harm the health of the athlete concerned, but it also fails to achieve its stated objective. Therefore, the testosterone levels deemed acceptable by any sporting body are, at best, not evidence-based, arbitrary32 and asymmetrically favour males.

There’s a lot more there related to sports and women, not just the transgender issue, but the timing of this drop seemed fortuitous given the circumstances around these parts lately.

And you have to ask, or at least wonder, why the responsible parties aren’t being held accountable for what appears to be their willing participation in the global war on women.
