I don’t mind air travel, but I do mind what’s been done to it. What was once an exciting adventure in the previous century has evolved into a cluster **** of systemic inconveniences. Wait times, canceled flights, and the risk that your “vaccinated” pilot might drop dead after takeoff. Oh, and the TSA!
Southwest Airlines grew from a start-up carrier back in 1967 to become the number-one airline in 2018. From that famous line in their early commercials, “more champagne?” to their catchphrase today, “your flight has been canceled.”
If you are one of those #woke, vaccinated libs working at Southwest Airlines, you better be careful. While you might not object to your union targeting its own dues-paying employees on political grounds, allowing that sort of internecine surveillance will inevitably come back to bite you in your fat blue ass.
The more famous case of workers rejecting forced vaccination among US airlines was Southwest. After announcing its plans, pilots “called out sick” en masse crippling the carrier.
