HCRC Machine Gun Shoot – Grok MicroInterview with NH State Rep Mike Yakubovitch
At last Saturday’s Hillsborough County Republicans’ Machinegun shoot, I ran into NH State Rep Mike Yakubovitch and his son.
HCRC 3rd Annual Machinegun Shoot – Grok MicroInterview with Julian Acciard
Julian is running for Congress in NH’s First Congressional District. I met up with him at the Hillsborough County Republican Committee’s 3rd Annual Machinegun Shoot this past Saturday at the Londonderry Fish & Game Club. I simply asked him “Why are you running?” and let him tell his story:
HCRC 3rd Annual Machinegun Shoot – Grok Interview with Rich Girard
Rich Girard is everywhere nowadays – and he has a good reason to be. A former Manchester City Alderman, former Manchester School Board member, he’s running to be the Republican nominee to run for Manchester Mayor and display the Socialist Joyce Craig. Sidenote: remember, a few years ago, the Question of the Day to Democrats … Read more
HCRC 3rd Annual Machinegun Shoot – Grok MicroInterview with Christopher Maidment
One of the first faces I saw after I drove into the Londonderry Fish & Game Club for the Hillsborough County Republican Committee was Christopher Maidment.
HCRC 3rd Annual Machinegun Shoot – Keynote Speaker: US Senator Tom Cotton
While the machineguns were the real main event of the day at the Hillsborough County Republican Committee at the Londonderry Fish & Game Club, Chris Ager had the opportunity to bring US Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) in to meet the attendees, shoot a little, and also give a short address as well.
After Action Report: ‘Grok MeetUp at the Londonderry Fish and Game Club yesterday
“…and the whole screen goes blue…the tannerite was so hot it shifted the colors..everything else was that cool in comparison…”
Well, the skies were clear, a nip of autumn was in the air (but still short sleeve weather for most), the smell of hot dogs (DANG – I forgot to bring my chili!) and hamburgers was in the air. And the firing of guns – including some sub-machine guns and a couple of belt-fed .30 (and was one a .50?) kept the background atmosphere perfect for talks about politics. Lots of subjects but especially that of the recent Primary election results and talk of what might happen in the General Election. Especially since Republican candidate for US Congress in the Second District Steve Negron and family showed up. In all, about 15 – 20 folks showed up in total – I was a bit disappointed hoping that the LFGC gun ranges might have enticed a few more folks but hey, that’s how it goes!

ICYMI: GrokMeetup – Reminder: Londonderry Fish and Game Club
UPDATE: Tickets will be $10 and will cover hot dogs, hamburgers, non-alcoholic drinks et al. Please click here to use EventBrite so we can figure out how much food to bring!
That’s right, the second GraniteGrok MeetUp is this Saturday from 11-2 pm. Yep, more talk, vittles and BANG! BANG! BANG! As always, what’s going on with and on the ‘Grok, current events, and of course (with it being the season), election talk as well. We’ll have use of their grill so we’ll bring the hot dogs and hamburgers and such (I guess I should make up some chili to put on the hot dogs – Mmmm!). We’ll start taking a count next week so as to know how much food to get.
GrokMeetup – a fun time at the first event
I didn’t know what to expect – would people show up? Would there just be a lot of awkward silence? Would the venue at the Area 23 Pub in Concord be too loud, rendering the event moot? Yup – they did, nope – hey it’s part of the blogging community here in NH , and nope – … Read more
