Welcome to your Monday, September 21st, 2026, morning update.
Minnesota doesn’t have as many Democrats as California does, so it could never ever reach the level of Fraudifornia, at least in terms of dollars. But the land of ten thousand lakes was ground zero for the modern anti ice movement, while also being the home of the ‘Learing Center’ and the two hundred and fifty million dollar fraud, tied to a taxpayer-funded food program.
So we have anti-ICE protests, and we have fraud, and the fraud culture has so seeped into progressive politics and the way you do things in the land of ten thousand lakes, that when these two things meet, fraud and anti-ICE, the expected happens.
So you might recall earlier this year when Tim Walz and the gang were whining about how all of this ICE enforcement of actual written and passed federal laws was interfering with the local economy. Local business owners were losing tens of millions of dollars because ICE was there and they were interfering, and it was causing all sorts of disruption.
One might assume the criminal aliens were some kind of net economic benefit after having laundered your stolen tax dollars. And it’s true, crime lords do create jobs and inject revenue into the local economy. I assume that well-paid assassins do as well. I guess it’s all a matter of how you feel about those things, your culture, your morals.
I mean, we could save taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars annually if we just stopped investigating murder.
‘Course you might find yourself with nothing but murderers, which is kind of ironic because Minnesota, you could call it Fraudesota, pretty much finds itself surrounded by fraudsters.
Quote, Hennepin County set up a two million dollar fund to blunt the economic sting of a federal immigration enforcement operation it opposed. Fraudsters moved in almost immediately. More than 200 of 300 applications were flagged as potentially fake, and the program is now dead. Commissioners approved the Small Business Recovery Fund in March. Grants ranged from $3,000 to $10,000 for businesses claiming at least a 30% revenue loss.
About 80 of those 300 applicants made it through the review. The county distributed roughly half a million dollars before pulling the plug. Hennepin County Commissioner Jeffrey Lund told CBS Minnesota that officials were finding more suspicious applications as the review went on.
There were so many ineligible people trying to take advantage of the system to steal more money from taxpayers that they had to stop the program.
Quote: The county says no fraudulent applications received money. Bullshit. Officials credited additional scrutiny, in-person inspections, and other checks before grants were approved.
Quote, we need to prosecute some people. People need to be held accountable. End quote.
The county sheriff’s office has been contacted and apparently is in possession of some of these questionable applications. And they say they’re waiting until they have all the information before they decide whether or not to proceed with any investigations or actually arrest anybody.
Who wants to bet the rest of the anti-ICE fund that nobody ever gets arrested?
But if you don’t arrest anyone, or if you don’t arrest everyone, what are you doing? You’re encouraging the progressive political culture that created the progressive fraud culture. And it’s so pervasive, you can’t even pretend to use other people’s money for a supposed good because the fraudsters will try to steal it.
On that note,
Without any help from ICE or any federal agents of any kind, Tim Walz and his Democrat administration took an eighteen billion dollar state surplus and turned it into an estimated three billion dollar state deficit.
That’s an over twenty billion dollar loss. And for what? A state that can’t run a program it claims is legitimate because too many people try to steal the money.
Maybe we should be sending Democrats back to Somalia with the Somalians?
