A.I. Climate Lie

Did you read any of the recent doom and gloom about the Peterman Glacier? It’s doing something glaciers have always done: calving. The media made a big deal about it earlier this year, squawking about accelerated melt due to warming ocean water. That must also be why it has added ten miles to its length in the past twelve years—a fact you’re not likely to find using modern big-tech internet tools. Quite the contrary. The likely output of engines, be it search or artificial intelligence, is that truth is lies, and lies are truth. That truth is misinformation, and misinformation is truth or was – especially if some misinformation “peddler” (as defined by the AI) pointed it out.

Check out this review of an AI Climate Lie from Real Climate Science.

This is useful, not simply as a dig at the climate stooges but in the general sense that the people creating these engines are biased, and the bias is built into the system, and not just on topics related to climate change, consulted by millions of people who don’t know any better.

Note: Right Rally will ultimately be a place for podcasts and longer-form videos. Until then, it will catch whatever I throw into it.
