Comedian Jeff Dunham got a lot of mileage out of portraying his cranky, cantankerous Walter as Joe Biden. He just put aviators on him. Biden gave him all sorts of material; all he had to do was regurgitate it.
I wonder if he could transition Walter into Bernie Sanders. The VT Senator is a cranky little commie, and he always has been. There’s no moderation or middle, just an angry Marxist pushing the same failed system while telling all the lies people need to hear to fall for it.
The recent success of DSA candidates has only inspired more hammer-and-sickle waving. Here are several minutes of stupid that Berns.

It’s important to note here that Vermont keeps electing this basket of cats. Sanders is a public embarrassment, in violation of his oath of office, and a threat to human rights and flourishing. Only Vermont or God can save us from his nonsense, and there is every probability that if they were to replace him out of need or desire, it would be a younger version of Sanders.
Someone who’s never done real work or functioned outside the halls of political power. Someone dumb enough to think that what Bernie and Sandy and Zorhan and Abdul are selling isn’t a trap. Rich people tellin you to hate rich people so they can use the government to get richer and erase the middle class.
That’s you, probably, the middle Class, and if it’s not, then you better be on team blue, or you are the magical “rich person” who is going to ‘Pay for everything,’ until the money runs out, or runs away, which it will.’
The poor will find themselves worse off as well. When we’re all in your boat, there won’t be anyone left to lift you out of anything and less to keep you anything but hungry and pissed. Not that your comrade leaders will allow you to complain about it.
Socialism is a two-class system. Political class and working class. Poor conditions, no rights, just labor, and if you don’t work, they have no use for you, so they might just put you in prison – at least until they need your organs.
Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, and your organs for party leadership, comrade. One final gift.
The only upside to what the DSA dems have planned is theirs. They get protected, fed, clothed, secured, AC, heat in the winter, private jets, the monarchical lifestyle (no organ transplant waitin’ list), universal healthcare (but no outside their universe), and unlimited, unaccountable power.
Bernie’s been an Oligarch his entire political life; he’s just hoping he lives long enough to be one of the Founders of American Communism. Maybe get his face on the side of a mountain. Four-story poster-sized murals like Greta got after she read her prepared script at the UN.
Vermont could do us all a Favor and replace him with a Republican. How about Phil Scott? He might be able to pull it off. Not exactly a stalwart defender of the Constitutional values on which the nation was founded, but he’s a good deal further from the left than Sanders.
Sanders, unfortunately, is not up for re-election until 2030, when he turns 89. Welch, however, is up for re-election in 2028.
You will need a Scott-like moderate Republican to run for governor, and I’m pretty sure you’ve got a few of those lying around.
Or maybe you get all the people who are already pissed off about the school taxes, the crime, the land grabs, the energy mandates, and the rest of it to show up in 26, 28, and 30 and turn the Green Mountain State from Blue to purple.
Their idea suck and all you have to do is show them, and since you’re living it, how hard could that be?
Easier than repealing the 17th Amendment.
