Until AFP came along, the Ethan Allen Institute was almost the only broad-based, organized effort to support Vermont taxpayers and energy consumers concerned that progressive policies are costing too much money. This 2013 video traces the impact of out-of-state money and policy initiatives in major legislation raising the cost of living, education, and energy. It shows how Vermont has been an easy punch for well-heeled interest groups with national agendas.
