I challenge you to give me the name of one person on the Left who has the credentials to judge someone’s level of commitment to religion. The Left is a Godless group that has done all it can to remove God from our everyday life. They find the Ten Commandments offensive and not worthy of public display, and God is so forbidden in schools that not only is prayer taboo but so is any song with God in the lyrics. If they had not worshipped the dollar bill so much, they would have all reprinted it without our motto: “In God We Trust.”
They have tried to rewrite history to the point where they do not remember that this country was founded by brave souls who took to small ships to find a promised land where they could freely worship their God. These people cannot worship God, but they can undoubtedly judge man. Recently, Vice President JD Vance claimed the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops was financially motivated by their stand on the deportation of illegal aliens. New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan, who gave the invocation shortly before Vance took his oath of office, denounced the remarks as “scurrilous” and “nasty.”
Vance’s remarks may have been scurrilous and nasty, but they were also based on facts. Catholic Charities receives billions of taxpayer dollars for “services” rendered to the United States government. The sin for most outspoken Democrats is not that we are giving a ton of money to NGOs, and specifically Catholic Charities, but that JD Vance has only been a Catholic for five years. JD Vance is proving to be one of the greatest minds in Washington and always backs his comments with facts, but Democrats never allow facts to get in the way of flip statements.
This practice of targeting the messenger is a beautiful example of deflection. Between agencies directly involved in the border, illegal immigration, and deportation and USAID, which Trump placed a freeze on this week, Catholic Charities received over $6 BILLION in 2022. That seems like a lot of motivation to me.
Elon Musk is another example of the Democrat’s deflection. It is not a problem for the Left that USAID is wasting billions of American taxpayer dollars, that there are only 6% of the federal workforce working on site, or that the Department of Education is producing worse test results every year. No, the problem for the Left is that a President promised to expose government waste and put a brilliant individual on the task of fulfilling the promise.
Democrats are holding rallies throughout the country to rant, scream, and incite their followers to obstruct and take to the streets to fight the Right’s effort to streamline and eliminate the bloat that has infected Washington for decades. The Left believes that money in the government coffers is theirs to spend at will. Well, to set the records straight, it is our money, and your job is to be a good steward of how it is spent. Since you have proven you are not up to the task, we are pulling for Trump, Vance, and Musk to do what you cannot.
