A More Individual Say in Representation

A new day, a good day, for New Hampton & Center Harbor Residents.
I have submitted a change of political affiliation from Republican to Undeclared.

A thank you to all of our citizens who have participated in the political process. It is an honor to serve as the Representative for your Belknap District 1 seat. Especially those who had supported me the past four years as the Republican candidate in my efforts to offer all residents their say, to which I will continue to do as an Undeclared Representative by upholding individual freedoms, protecting the family, and sound fiscal policy in my attempt to legislate within what is presently the accepted understanding of our constitution.

As Undeclared, it may lessen political groups’ attempts to discourage both Republican and non-Republicans from addressing their own concerns.

Through our emails, phone calls, meetups, home invites, and being elected for a third term, I feel I have met most of our district’s expectations and look forward to your suggestions for improvement.

Let’s shut down any forthcoming misrepresentations about my change of affiliation…..

The one reason and one reason only for my decision to offer my constituents the opportunity to advocate for themselves and their personal concerns on issues without the hindrance of political agendas.

I had witnessed time and time again how Honorable Members of the House who strayed from their party’s agendas are treated by their party leaders and membership in full public view.

Those events are in stark contrast to that of the NH Republican leadership, who in privacy behind closed doors quietly heard my reasoning to be Undeclared. Though not able to comprehend my desire they expressed their sadness in it and without any confrontation we gentlemanly shook hands in going forth with this new paradigm.

I will continue to receive your input and hope that you become involved as early as possible on an issue or concern so that together we can work together for the best possible results as I continue to vote the district’s majority interests on legislation which has been pro environment and fiscally moderate conservative.
