Don Bolduc’s ridiculous excuse of an endorsement of Democrat Socialist shill Chris Pappas continues to produce bad press for the retired General.
Our first fisking and commentary on the news has been very well received, with numerous commenters on X summed up thusly: “That man has turned into such a huge disappointment.”
Indeed, he has, but it’s only just begun.
In 2022, Don Bolduc completed an NH Firearms Coalition survey asking whether he would withhold his endorsement from any candidate “who is willing to work against the Second Amendment Civil Rights of New Hampshire Citizens.”
Gen. Bolduc claims to have only veterans’ best interests at heart with his endorsement of sock puppet Pappas, a sham of a claim we took the woodshed here, but how are their interests served by supporting a gun grabber like Chris Pappas who would, ironically, not think twice about taking Don Bolduc’s guns?
Yes, this was 2022, and yes, the question is quite specific to that election, but on principle, Mr. Bolduc has just “voted” to disarm every Veteran, including himself. Pappas and company make no distinction between law-abiding citizens and firearms. The Democratic Party, the DSA, and their deep-pocketed anti-2A advocacy groups are not just pushing to disarm us. They support stacking the US Supreme Court to get a High Court decision that reinterprets the Second Amendment such that only the government will have firearms.
I’m not sure what Don Bolduc was thinking, but by endorsing Pappas, he’s endorsed predators in the girls’ and ladies’ room and locker rooms, grooming in public schools, the surgical and chemical castration of children (paid for by taxpayers), male sexual predators in women’s prisons, beta-male foreign policy, and let’s revisit the list from my first post on the Pappas endorsement.
Pappas is a partisan puppet and another progressive seat warmer in Congress. A safe vote for the Democrat Party’s pro-socialist, open-border, anti-fossil fuel, pro-crime, high-tax, and spending agenda. He wants men in women’s sports and safe spaces, and criminal aliens harassing our legal immigrant communities.
Pappas didn’t oppose mandatory jabs in the military (as far as I can tell), or you get fired, and favored DEI and gender policies that crippled recruitment and undermined our fighting force and national security.
I don’t think you thought this through, Don, or something happened to you, which may temporarily put you in the good graces of our would-be progressive overlords, but they aren’t giving you a seat at their table, and you certainly won’t be allowed to keep your firearms.
Not very strategic planning for someone with your experience in kinetic conflict.
And you can hate Trump all you want, but he isn’t on board with any of this left-wing crap you just supported. Most of which violates your oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
Maybe you’re not the one doing it, but by endorsing a Democrat, you’re enabling them to do it.
Is it too late to take it back?
Even if you could, I’d have to go with yes, it is. And short of just declaring yourself a Democrat, you’re probably done in politics, which, if this is what passes for your thinking, isn’t a bad thing.
