MACDONALD: Sock Puppet Pappas – Redistricting & Voting Rights

The Dems’ establishment meat puppet to replace the retiring meat puppet (Jeanne Shaheen) is Chris Sock-Puppet Pappas. If elected, he will resume the pointless exercise of serving as one of Washington, DC’s ambassadors to New Hampshire. Another Democrat, “from” a region of the nation with plenty of Republicans but none in Congress.

Sock Puppet Pappas has been filling a Congressional Seat for the past 4 terms, which he has abandoned to replace Granny Shaheen, who has been in the US Senate since 2008, when John Sununu lost it to her. Sununu, ironically, wants it back, now that she’s out and Pappas is the competition.

Everyone I know prefers Scott Brown, by the way, but we’ll have to wait until September to see who Republicans want.

Sock Puppet Pappas has two primary challengers. Karishma Manzur, running to Pappas’ Left. If you’d like to picture what that looks like, might I suggest Stalin, Mao, Chavez, or Castro? The other prospective loser is Jared Sullivan, who is running as “… “an alternative, somebody who actually is willing to stand up and fight and use their voice.” It sounds like Jared thinks Pappas is a Sock Puppet, too.

Manzur has a better chance of beating Pappas, as she is more like Bernie Sanders, and Granite State Dems love the Bern, but Pappas has name recognition and a long history of voting the way the DNC/Dem Caucus requires. His few outlier votes were perception plays on legislation that made him look moderate. Chris Pappas is a Dem Caucus sock-puppet in Congress and could be nothing more in the US Senate.

How do we know this?

Check out his X feed. He is a rubber-stamp narrative-sharing stooge. Take redistricting, for example. He’s toeing the line about voting rights. I believe he did the same thing with voter ID, not because it’s true or even makes sense, but because that’s what he was told to do. But tell everyone that women and minorities are too stupid to get an ID, they already have, isn’t as damaging as we’d like to believe. But the voting rights implications of the recent redistricting rulings are more interesting.

Note: when Democrats radically redistrict and gerrymander republican seats out of existence, it’s a victory for Democracy. When Republicans redraw lines, blacks and women forget where their IDs are or how to vote.

Dumocrats

Sock Puppet Pappas’ Democrat Colleague, Sandy Cortez, just forced everyone at the DNC to put a dollar in the swear jar after she announced that, “States like Tennessee want to wipe out every Black representative.” Tennessee doesn’t have any black Representatives, and its only Democrat member of Congress is pasty white like Chris Pappas. Silly and sad, but wait, there’s more.

Pappas is in New Hampshire, where Democrats have had at least 5 opportunities to elect a “person of color” in NH CD-2 over the past 12 years. They chose pasty white folk every time because the person of color was a Republican. Hold that thought.

Now contrast that with the redistricting question. It is unconstitutional discrimination to sort or sift anything by race. No duh, right? SCOTUS just said the obvious and set the stage to redraw districts previously drawn on racial grounds all across the fruited plain and then some.

Imagine Sock Puppet Pappas or the Neiman Marxist arguing that we need to draw them, so they only have white people in them, and you get the point (and not just because their ideological ancestors probably did that). What matters in 2026 is that it makes no difference where the lines are; the only thing preventing anyone from voting, or voting for black candidates, is the absence of any.

New Hampshire Republicans had plenty of white primary candidates, but in at least 4 of the last 5 NH CD2 races, they chose the non-white candidate. The NH Dems never had any people of color for their “minorities” to vote for in either congressional district, but they were all damn sure expected to vote for the white candidate. The only black Democrat candidate to run in recent memory (2012) was persuaded to drop out of the primary, so the white candidate wouldn’t have a primary.

White NH Dems Celebrate Juneteenth (play find the black person and best of luck), but you won’t see any of that “freedom” around here when it comes to higher office. They are hypocritical, or should I say typical, none of which has anything to do with voting rights, which are about the right to vote, not the right to vote for someone based on the color of their skin.

Remember, no matter where the congressional district lines are drawn, everyone still has their right to vote, so why the uproar? They don’t want them voting for Black Republicans, of which there will be several, if not many. The issue isn’t voting rights; it is the opposite. Democrats want to make sure blacks get stuck with Democrats regardless of how they vote or what the candidate looks like.

I don’t know if Sock Puppet Pappas knows this, but it hardly matters. He’s just there to tweet and retweet the approved messaging and vote the way he’s told from a seat in a state with a party that could have run a person of color to replace pasty white Carol Shea Porter, but chose him instead.
