New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte has repeatedly placed equal blame on both parties for the federal government shutdown. Examples:
Apparently, Ayotte believes that Democrats are NOT to blame for refusing to pass the same type of “clean” continuing resolution (maintaining current spending) that was passed thirteen times under Biden. Apparently, she believes that Republicans should “negotiate” with Democrats.
It is fair to ask, therefore, just what concessions does Ayotte think Republicans should make to reopen the federal government. Making the temporary Obamacare subsidies permanent? Allowing Illegals to use Medicaid? Funding PBS?
