Smith: Who Is Kimberly Conway Hester?

Rev Kimberly Conway Hester had gone dormant in my mind for the past few years until today!  More on today in a moment, but I will start with a secular answer to the titled question, asking who she is.  Hester is a masker and was featured on WMUR in August 2021, pushing for Mask Madness at a Nashua school board meeting, a fine example of why HB361 (prohibiting mandatory mask policies in schools) is very much needed.

At least WMUR had the rare courtesy to feature a few known people from our side of that issue, like school candidate Alicia Houston and Famous Frank Staples.  How interesting that this mask maniac was today’s featured Senate clergy person and just one week after Regina Birdsell, a masker, removed HB 361 from the Consent Calendar!

I haven’t even so much as thought about Hester until I heard Queen Sharon Carson say her name after calling the Senate to order while I wasn’t looking at the computer screen.  My knee-jerk impulse reaction was to drop what I was doing and run to look, as I thought, “no way!”  Sure enough, it was her.

Acts 17:26-27, as I’ve been told by experts, means that God had thoughtfully chosen everything to happen exactly the way it did on purpose.  To a layperson like me, that means that God allowed this minister of a woke church to play “Senate Chaplain Du Jour” today, and that I am to accept it.  Very well.  However, I had and still have thoughts about it, and they might take readers on a scenic trip.

When I looked at the livestream to confirm that it was indeed the same Rev Kimberly Conway Hester, though now breathing fresh air, I wondered how she landed the gig and if it was something Queen Sharon had to approve.  The answer to my first question came before she started the Senate prayer because she thanked Cindy Rosenwald for inviting her, which led to more questions.  Why didn’t Rosenwald invite the rabbi instead?  Rabbi Jon Spira Savett is at least equally woke and disturbed, something many locals and some parishioners can attest to.  His synagogue is in Ward 3, just a few blocks away from Chez Rosenwald.  Christ the King Lutheran Church, Hester’s employer, is in Ward 1 and therefore in District 12, not 13.  Trust me, Nashua has no shortage of woke churches, so how Hester wound up selected by Rosenwald remains unknown to me.

It was also unknown to me if the featured clergyperson had to be a Protestant, so I sent an email to a triple subject matter expert, Norm Silber, and he replied a few hours later.  I asked if a rabbi has ever prayed for the House at the mic, not that the Senate necessarily has an identical policy manual.  I also emailed Paul Terry because he’s a minister, and I await his reply.

The last person I emailed was Attorney Lehmann because I want to know the official procedure for the Senate’s selection of a clergy person.  Are they always invited by a Senator?  Does Queen Sharon have to approve the invitation?  Are invitations limited to ordained ministers who have been vetted?  All those questions are things I never gave much thought to until today.  In Norm Silber’s reply, he confirmed that rabbis have given opening benedictions to the House.  He also said he didn’t know how the selection was made, but surmised that suggestions go through the clerk and the Speaker.   While I have zero religious expertise, I certainly recognize a woke church when I see one, either by its physical appearance or its website content.

Also, there are a few Sovereign Nations YouTube videos that Michael O’Fallon and Dr James Lindsay can speak to in greater detail for those who might like a good 90-minute podcast on the Marxification of churches.

I can’t possibly be the only Granite Stater to frown upon such warped-minded people of the cloth having spiritual leadership over either body of the legislature, so I’ll leave it at that.
