Now that he is running for the US Senate, a position for which it is difficult to unseat even the most despicable liberal scold, Chris Pappas, has invited more scrutiny. As a member of Congress, he can and has done plenty of damage, but the size of the US House dilutes the potential harm. He’d be more trouble in the Senate, and he’s already shown us his cards.
His voting record.
The Government under Joe Biden, of which he was a co-conspirator, had no issue with spending all the money it could print with the Trump tax cuts in place. In other words, it would make no difference to Pappas (or Goodlander, who voted with him) if the Trump tax cuts were extended. They got all the waste, fraud, and abuse they could manage with them. The government did not go without. But given the chance to renew them and give you some relief, he voted for tax hikes. [GrokTALK! – Phil Kerpen Explains Why We Need to Renew The Trump Tax Cuts]
Big increases on regular workday, Granite Staters.
The National Taxpayers Union Foundation estimates that the vote will cost the average New Hampshire citizen over $3600.00 a year in tax increases.

But wait. There’s more.
Pappas hates families and small businesses, too. According to the NTU, Chris Pappas’ vote will also,
- Halve the federal standard deduction
- Reduce the federal child tax credit
- Reintroduce higher federal tax brackets
- Lower the federal estate tax threshold
- Eliminate key business tax benefits like federal Section 199A and full expensing
More money for what DOGE has increasingly revealed to be a corrupted enterprise allowing in waste, fraud, and abuse.
Consider that context when Chris pipes up about working to ‘improve’ the economy for working people or tries to claim some moral high ground, paid for by small businesses and families.
Then remember that Pappas is a multi-millionaire who doesn’t need your money to do anything, but has chosen a job in government that gives him the power to rob you blind to finance his priorities – most of which include laundering taxdollars to fake non-profits who then fund liberal activist groups who funnel some of that money to Democrat campaigns.
Kind of an asshole move, I know.
And he might suggest that we need the money to pay down the massive deficit growth in his paltry few years in office, but that’s not true. Democrats always raise taxes, then waste it, so the federal deficit never goes down.
Yes, he’ll take credit for shepherding some of it back, but again, at significant cost in handling fees and favors to Pappas, with another false claim of empathy or moral superiority. If he really cared, he’d leave it in your pocket to spend as you please instead of running it through the fingers of public servants who take a piece before anything else can happen.
If you truly cared, you’d vote to cut out all the middlemen, Chris. You didn’t. You couldn’t. Government comes first, and that makes you a threat to Granite Staters and Americans.
