Should NH Continue To Require Annual Vehicle Inspections?

The Union Leader has a survey (no paywall) asking your thoughts about ending annual passenger vehicle inspections. (Just for the heck of it, I’ll do an X poll here.)

From reading comments on Grok feeds across social media, I know there is mixed support for it, but mostly for it, and the UL results as of this morning mimic that.

The people against it always share stories of some mechanical issues that have happened as proof that we still need them. A mechanical problem on a state-inspected motor vehicle?

That’s what I thought.

The results when I took the UL “test’ were 62.5% no more to 34.5%. Keep inspections. 3% were indifferent.

What do you think? Complete the UL survey, and don’t forget about the Grok X poll here.

If you missed it, the NH House passed HB649 (which ends them) 212-143.
