I did a quick search for ‘Tesla’ at some local handmaiden media outlets and the results were less than encouraging (though, entirely expected). Democrats are committing violent acts, arson, and defacing private property but no one around these parts seems to want to cover that.
WMUR has one article, but it does not ask any state or local elected Democrats about it—not even for a Rodney King “can’t we all just get along” quote.
There are some comments from Tesla owners (i.e., presumably, Democrats).
“We bought our car four years ago when (Musk) was a Democrat and wasn’t acting up the way he is now,” said Tesla owner Joyce Hagan.
“It’s just unfortunate that people are reacting like they are,” said another Tesla owner, Mary Mitchell. “They shouldn’t be damaging other people’s property. There’s other ways of protesting.”
You won’t find much more than that, and this strikes me as a problem. If “people” were burning the Vehicles used by Progressive Insurance adjusters (it is majority owned by a prominent Liberal donor and oligarch), or attacking Ben and Jerry’s, or the stuff peddled by that local Yogurt guy who also sold out to a global conglomerate, would they be asking Republicans to comment?
Faster than shit through a goose.
Put another way, you all are a bunch of sucky partisan “journalist” hacks. Democrats are getting road-raged at Tesla-driving progressives. Their own people! At the same time, “activists” burn cars and dealerships, and no one is interested in what Maggie Goodlander, Ray Buckley, or that wing nut Wendy Thomas thinks.
A MAGA supporter makes the OK sign, and there’s a mad rush to get the NHGOP Chairman’s thoughts or that of whichever reliably poor speaking NH house Rep they have on speed dial. And don’t get me started on…salutes!
This behavior – the actual violence – is the sort of thing Hitler would appreciate, but you couldn’t get the media to link Tesla-burning progolodytes with 20th-century brownshirts if you begged. Republicans, on the other hand, …
ABC News 9, of course, has no competition unless you count the parrots working the Boston media market. But that’s like the Redshirts fighting with the Brownshirts over like-minded newly disenfranchised Tesal owners’ eyeballs.
I’d love to hear Landrigan get a quote from Rosemarie “people before politics” Rung. Something honest, like “Burn, baby burn.”
That’s their version of civility. Even when you’re “with them,” when the narrative shifts, you get steamrolled and they call it speaking truth to power. It’s the same thing that happend to minorities when they wrecked their families and girls injured by boys in girls sports; or women raped and murdered by criminal illegals. They can’t say they are sorry because they don’t mean it. The wheels need to be greased, and you’re it—a small price to pay for the revolution.
The media then covers for them, and no one asks about all the toxic heavy-metal emissions released into the world, or – while we’re at it – Democrats swatting Republican “influencers.” I’d bet you a burning Tesla they have an opinion to share about it. Heck, you don’t even have to call them, look them up on Bluesky. (pronounced blewski, if you ask me)
