I just finished reading the latest routine Judy Aron piece that releases the day after the House meets, something I encourage everyone to do. She writes a great summary with a flair of humor. Near the end, she mentions an enemy camp rep that I usually call “HopeLESS Damon,” a member of House Education (funding) and one with an overlapping constituency to Judy. I will play it nice and refer to her as just “Damon” for the rest of this article because she displayed a hint of intelligence at the mic yesterday. The following was said in Judy’s report:
“Finally, we learned that after our business was finished, and some members left the room to get home before the weather turned more nasty, Rep. Hope Damon (D-Croydon) came up to speak with an unanimous consent speech. In her speech she let us know that some committee chair had said that “online testimony” was of less interest than “in person testimony” and she wanted to point out that all testimony should be valued and considered and recognized. She wasn’t wrong. After she was done with her speech, Rep. Nicholas Germana (D-Keene) asked for her remarks to be printed in the permanent journal. Many members had already left the room but a roll called vote was taken 165Y-104N to print the remarks. It was the only vote of the day that the Democrats won.“
I’m here to present some evidence in support of what Damon said, but first, a word from Ron Paul, which I’ve used before in my email to Mr & Mrs Newman regarding the (thankfully withdrawn) attempt to change House Rule 44:
“There’s a very disturbing trend where people will only speak up when “their team” isn’t in power. Once “their team” is in power, every encroachment against liberty is met with silence. SPEAK UP! … NO MATTER WHAT! Your “team” cannot save you when your Liberty is gone.”
Muzzled Uniparty establishment RINO Londonderry Rep Dolan, also an enemy of 91A, was the chair of House Municipal three years ago when I spoke to that committee against a bill to uncap Nashua (HB 1342). In addition to his civics incompetence (not knowing the difference between a rep and an alderman or that the mayor is NOT a member of the legislature), he was clearly unaware of the existence of online testimonies. Below is a picture of him waving his pile of index cards at me and calling Alderman Teeboom “Rep Teeboom” as though I was from another planet. Fortunately, I had met (now chair) Rep Diane Pauer for the first time right before the hearing began and she spoke up and “schooled” Rep Dolan at 2h29min in this video.

Doesn’t this make you wonder how many submissions of online testimony(to ANY committee) routinely go unrecognized? Alderman Teeboom is a locally well-known tireless tax/spending cap activist and should NEVER go unrecognized. Behaviorist BF Skinner, famous for his research work on animals involving reinforcement of desired behavior, if alive today, would encourage praising Rep Damon for what she did. That’s what this article is here to do.
