We’ve heard stories about transplant and other patients being denied care for refusing a COVID-19 injection in the past. It was wrong then, and it’s wrong now. But not at Dartmouth Hitchcock. It is reportedly denied a life-saving transplant to a patient (Dec 23, 2024) because she never received a COVID-19 injection. Yes, in 2025.
In violation of the NH Patient Bill of Rights.
XXII. The patient shall not be denied admission, care, or services based solely on the patient’s vaccination status.
Update: Dartmouth has been made aware (or reminded) of the law.
Please contact your governor-elect, Kelly Ayotte, and AG John Formella, and politely ask them to protect patient rights.
Dartmouth Hitchcock has knowingly been breaking this law with their vaccine policy for two and a half years.
