I’ve known Mike Biundo since the genesis of the NH TEA Party Coalition when some leaders of the various NH-based conservatarian groups decided that the Granite State needed such a movement. To be honest, he’s always been a bit more “ahem” circumspect than I on almost any issue you’d be willing to query us. I needed very few filters in place, but Mike, being a political operator for candidate and advocacy campaigns, needed to be more careful. That’s why I had to chuckle a bit when I read this:
Biundo bows out
Veteran GOP campaign operative Mike Biundo of Manchester is passing on a run for state party chairman.
“Here’s the challenge: I can’t stay silent when I see decisions being made that don’t align with the values we hold dear. That’s just not in my nature. The role of NHGOP Chairman would require a level of restraint,” Biundo said on X.
At least he was being honest about being why, eh? However, even with the results over the last two elections (NH Republicans winning the “quadfecta” of the NH Governorship, Executive Council, and the NH House and Senate), there are still times when a few boots need to be used to do the kickin’ and it might have been fun to be there to watch the ordinarily staid Mike give someone(s) a “whatfor.”
