Len Turcotte for NH House Speaker

The vote for Speaker of the New Hampshire House is Wednesday, November 13th. Len Turcotte is challenging the current speaker, Sherm Packard, for the gavel. Sherm is a nice guy (every time I’ve run into him), but we need Len Turcotte as the NH House Speaker.

Len has a 100% NH House Republican Alliance Rating for 2024 (98.5% in 2021, 97% in 2022, and 100% in 2023). Len is a solid pro-platform, pro-constitution Republican. Len also has an A or better rating from the NH Liberty Alliance in those years (I did not look further back).

From his Len for Speaker website.

Len is a 4th Term State Representative. He was Chairman of House Municipal and County Government Committee this past term.

In the years when he was not a Speaker, Sherm Packard’s liberty rating was a C, and his HRA average can’t compete with Len’s (one year, he got 65%). Shrem had one 98.5, a few 88s, and some lover ratings. During the slim majority years, we lost a lot of battles because we didn’t have the votes.

I can’t say I loved how Sherm handled out committee chair spots or reacted to how Chairs managed their responsibilities. We can do better.

It is my opinion that Len will prioritize your individual rights and liberties, and the people needed to protect them over all other concerns or interests.

To newly elected Reps and returning incumbents, I encourage you to nominate Len for Speaker, so show up for the nomination caucus and cast your secret ballot for Len.

Please ask your Republican state reps to support Len Turcotte for Speaker of the NH House!
