Kearsage School Traumatizes Kids

What are the worst things a public school COULD do these days? Some parents are suggesting that the Kearsage School District in New Hampshire is responsible for traumatizing their kids AND the students of other nearby schools. They knew many of their soccer players were uncomfortable with a biological male joining their girl’s soccer team, and they also knew the player’s father was a convicted sex offender awaiting the start of his 5-year incarceration. They gaslit anyone speaking up about the privacy of the locker room or the physical safety of the girls on a girl’s designated team.

Parents spoke up about Marc Jacques, the sex-offender father, but were lied to and told precautions were put in place. Some were told he was staying in his car at games. Parents saw that he wasn’t in his car, in fact, he was mingling with the crowd at games and had his phone out. Parents were told that the police were present at home games. The local police would watch Marc Jacques from across the field and did not intervene when he used his phone or spoke to children, regardless of where the child’s parents might have been. Police were NOT notified at the other schools where Marc Jacques attended games.

The school kept Marc Jacques on their volunteer list AFTER his arrest, after his conviction, and even a short time after his sentencing! He owned a coaches vest, so he literally looked like he belonged and could be trusted by others. He was given an amazing amount of freedom AFTER he pled guilty, both by the courts and the school.

Marc Jacques was arrested in June of 2022, convicted on March 18th, 2024, and then, 6 months later, sentenced. At that sentencing hearing, he was given an additional three months! It wasn’t until after this sentencing hearing that any school considered restrictions for Jacques around children. Jacques was working at Dartmouth University until a week after his sentencing. He didn’t leave his job until after a published DOJ article outlining his crime. Marc Jacques had an inordinate amount of free time and an inordinate amount of access to children, considering the seriousness of his sex offense.

Marc Jacques is convicted of taking pictures of at least one local minor female and superimposing her face onto other sexual images. He then shared those sexual images with other sex offenders AND shared the child’s Instagram account information. He urged the other offender to contact the child! He is paying restitution to four local families and had possession of 200+ child sexual abuse images; some children already had visual signs of sexual abuse. The aggravated conditions of this offense are highly concerning. This may be a “hands-off” crime, but there is the orchestration of a more serious crime.

What’s really concerning is that the school KNEW! They knew and still allowed his presence around the children. No, they strangely WELCOMED his presence!

The Kearsarge School District ignored any concerns from children or their parents and silenced any opposition. Parents from OTHER schools began to speak out, and their voices were also ignored. It wasn’t until one of those parents spoke to the Department of Justice’s Chief of External Engagement that anything was actually done. Parents had pictures and video. They could SHOW Marc Jacques had nothing stopping him from carrying out his exact crime AGAIN. How uncomfortable! The school wasn’t intervening and was actively CREATING new opportunities for a self-described sex addict to surround himself with his preferred target offense group, girls ages 10-16.

The court documents are disturbingly detailed, giving no doubts to the depravity of Marc Jacques. In their entirety, they show his orchestration of this entire scene. The attention seeking, the opportunity taking, the “advocacy” that gave HIM this false identity to be around children with a purpose. It just creates discomfort, red flags, and, eventually, law enforcement involvement. It brings undue attention to his child who is just trying to fit in and play. But it actually feels like it’s all to gain attention and create chaos so dad could get the best access to minor females.

But WHY does this school knowingly allow a sex offender so much access to the children? He pled guilty in March of 2024. Why are we NOW setting boundaries? It’s been SEVEN months of hiding what they knew about Marc Jacques. How do they reconcile the dates?

Parents were given no trespass orders for silently wearing XX pink armbands at a Bow girl’s soccer game this season. Schools have been actively encouraging the loss of women’s-only spaces, and the loss of the free speech to speak up about it. Biden’s rewrite of Title lX to include gender identity has ostensibly given up women’s only spaces to anyone defining themselves a woman. Most parents see this as a rebellion against common sense. You cannot deny what you KNOW makes you what you are. You cannot separate sport into two categories and then let “some” from the other category in. Are we supporting the spirit of disobedience? Parents and players hope Donald Trump’s Presidency and his promises of the protection of women’s spaces will quickly put an end to this chaos. They want boundaries set again.
