In my recent article shaming Adam Sexton, his last question of the 3 viable candidates in the WMUR debate was, “How do you lower the political temperature in this country?” Vikram got to answer last, and he said, “Look, I think we just need to unify…” (followed by name-dropping attacks on both his opponents). He followed with, “My campaign has been about unifying the Republican party.”
In case you haven’t already heard the good news, Lily Tang Williams won the primary. Will Vikram walk the walk after talking the talk? An excellent way to find out is if he attends Today’s Republican Unity Breakfast, takes to the mic to congratulate Lily, and takes down this attack site that he paid for. Whether or not he attends, if he doesn’t do the latter, everyone is encouraged to call him out on it.
Don’t live in our district? It still matters. One reason is that the next midterm is a senatorial election year. If I had to guess, he would make another run for it as he did in 2022. If he’s as smart as his candidate profile implies that he is, he will do the right thing and take it down.
