An interview with Justin Worthley – Running for Sheriff in Carroll County

by
Ruth Clough

“Your Sheriff is the highest authority in your county, even over the federal government. The sheriff has the authority to deny enforcement of state, federal, and local laws that do not serve your rights or work contrary to your rights. Sherriff Brad Rogers from Elkhart, IN, stood up to the federal government. The FDA and the USDA were raiding Amish Farmers in the middle of the night. Sherriff Rogers told these federal agencies that if they stepped into his county without first coming to him and seeking his permission, then he would arrest them for trespassing. Since the day of his letter, they’ve never had another problem.”  KrisAnne Hall, Constitutional Attorney. (KrisAnne Hall is the most sought-after national speaker on the Constitution).

A brief interview with Justin Worthley, who is running for Sherriff in Carroll County.

Question: What are your thoughts on how the citizens of Carroll County feel about their rights being protected by local authorities?

Justin: People are feeling like their local governments are not valuing them and abiding by the Constitution. The oath of law enforcement explicitly states that you are sworn to uphold the Constitution and people are seeing that not be taken seriously.

Law enforcement needs to stand by people, law enforcement leaders need to stand by their staff. We have every agency with openings because the profession is lacking real leadership.

Question: There’s a lot of chatter on the left wanting to restrict our freedoms to defend ourselves by limiting our rights to bear arms. What do you think about this?

Justin: Crime in NH is low and especially in Carroll County. That is due to high firearms ownership. I would like to enhance that by providing various emergency training to prevent rising crime. Unfortunately, with our current border situation we will have upticks in crime. In Carroll County, we are not that far from the northern border that has experienced record high crossings. This will result in communities seeing calls related to this issue. A well informed and capable community is the best law enforcement asset there is. I seek to facilitate that any way I can.

Question: In speaking with different community members as to whether or not they would vote for you; many are ready for a change, the only concerns I’ve heard is from previous law officials, and that is whether or not you can properly handle the budget of the Sherriff’s office? How would you assuage their concerns?

Justin: I have experience with operating budget lines in my law enforcement career. Budgeting is understanding what you have for resources and not overextending them. Simple. I am fiscally conservative and against any tax increases. Though I do not have the details of the Sherriff’s office budget, I am confident that I will be able to achieve more, and with the current budget.

Question: What is your experience as an officer of the law?

  • 10 years of law enforcement Rochester/Pittsfield
  • Positions held
  • Patrol
  • Detective
  • Union president
  • Firearms instructor
  • Firearms armorer
  • Evidence collection
  • Evidence room management
  • Prosecutor
  • Field training officer
  • Fleet maintenance coordinator
  • Accident reconstruction team Strafford County

Author’s summary:

In this past decade we have seen how reckless and how dangerous all levels of government have become to the people; loss of parental rights, medical tyranny, forced closure of churches and businesses, open borders.  American tax dollars paying for; illegal immigrants, proxy wars and big government.

While many of us focus on the big ticket; the governors, U.S. congress, and the Presidency – the real battle is within our own households. Study closely your candidates that will be protecting your children at school, your homes and neighborhoods, and those who will best represent the needs of your community at the state level. Let’s first take care of our own households, then we can help our neighbors all the way to the White House.

In closing…

“Whether you are a conservative or a liberal, I will be a guardian of the Constitution for you, I will not stand idly by while my county is trampled, whether by criminals or an over reaching government.”  Sherriff Brad Rogers, Elkhart, IN

We have learned that an over reaching government is breaking the supreme law of the land which makes them criminals. That is the power of your Sherriff [to take action]. And that ought to be the statement of every Sherriff. And if that’s not the statement of your Sherriff, then you need a new Sherriff.” KrisAnne Hall  Non-compliant Movie (rumble.com)
