Democrat Representative Jared Sullivan condemned the attempted assassination of Trump on his X (twitter). Yet he did not call for an end to the insane, out-of-control, Trump-is-Hitler, Trump is a fascist, Trump-must-be-stopped rhetoric that Democrats have been using nonstop.
Perhaps that is because Jared has engaged in that very rhetoric … labelling Trump a fascist (albeit Jared probably has no idea what fascism is) and comparing Trump, OF COURSE, to Hitler.
Jared wants to have it both ways. He wants to engage in hateful, incendiary rhetoric … while claiming that there is somehow no connection between calling Trump the modern-day Hitler and political violence, I.E. MURDERING TRUMP. Doesn’t work that way, Jared. You own the Hitler comparison, which means you own the resulting political violence.
