Deb Paul is Running for Rockingham County Commissioner

Even the most politically active among us tend to ignore the races for County Commissioner, but having met a few and worked on other projects with some, I learned how important that gig is. They are responsible for your county budget, spending, and taxes, and while you have a County Delegation, having good Commissioners can’t be understated.

Every County Commission needs good people who will ask questions and challenge the status quo, defend taxpayers, and work toward transparency. I don’t live in Rockingham County, but I know Dep Paul, and she is running for County Commissioner.

If you don’t recall who Deb is, she’s a thorn in the side of the political elites in Londonderry. I’m sure they have less polite turns of phrase for her, but as a publisher and politician, Deb worked to keep the electorate informed and public officials on notice, and they’ve not been kind in response. That is always a sign that you are over the target.

Deb Paul would like to take that tenacity to the county level. If you’d like to contact her, support her effort, or ask some questions, you can find her contact info Here. And understand that she’ll need a lot of help – they won’t want her in there keeping an eye on things for you.
