People who claim they don’t like it when other people have guns should not be allowed to use the tax dollars of people they disarm to pay for armed guards. I don’t know; that just seems like a reasonable request to me. Pay for it yourself. I mean, if you are such a gift to the community, what are you afraid of?
And that goes for freaky sideshow events like making people feel good about their periods. Before you lose your shit, let me explain. Grab Sherman and Mr. Peabody and jump into the wayback machine. Circa anytime before now. Okay, maybe we need to dive back into the 20th century, when nobody was holding advertised public events about menstruation, and there were no fewer menstruators.
That was, of course, before the days of women walking in parades or at protests dressed up like women’s private parts. Sexuality was a thing, but not something you insisted everyone both recognize, advocate, and praise. Pride, as they say, is one of the seven deadly sins, for a reason. In all its forms, it is destructive to the individual and the culture that permits its excess.
Men in the female equivalent of clown makeup doing burlesque on a parade float for children is grotesque, but period pride?
Maybe make it about hockey, and then we’re talking, but increasingly unpopular woke Mayor Wu isn’t getting the message. The Transgender Period Pride thing was canceled, but now it’s not.
It has since been revealed that Wu’s office is still moving forward with plans alongside Mass NOW and the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition, including the hiring of armed guards.
In a four-slide Instagram post shared Wednesday, organizers wrote: ‘Let us be clear: we are not backing down, we’re doubling down.’
‘Over the past week, we have witnessed an unacceptable wave of anti-trans hatred and misinformation directed at the Trans Period Pride event,’ the groups added.
‘Due to the severity of some threats that were received, the Boston Police Department will be present at the event.’
A few thoughts, obviously; that’s why we’re here.
Given the snowflake-like hypersensitivity and the chronic fibbing of the factions involved, I highly doubt there was any actual anti-trans anything, including threats. Adjust your meads and whatever it is; suck it up.
And I accept that the world is full of angry, stupid people, but most of them have to be pro-trans or their peer group will excommunicate them. Climate change. Race-baiting. Letting illegal alien killers and rapists loose. Period Pride. Morons.
Where is woke Wu with the prostate cancer pride event? Equity, yes? There are plenty of men dressed as women who will need prostate exams regardless of how many hormones or how much surgery they have. And since most of them probably got the useless jab and the boosters, they are at increased risk of random turbo cancers. Where’s their event? Especially given this, from way back in 2023.
For trans women, estrogen use could cause overall lower levels of PSA, making the screening tool even less effective and potentially increasing the risk of false negatives. It’s possible doctors will need to adjust how they apply PSA results for trans women on estrogen, the study authors said.
There were also signs in the study results that trans women who have taken estrogen can develop more advanced prostate cancer than cisgender men by the time it is identified, suggesting diagnosis delays for the women, though more research is needed to better understand what’s happening.
Finally, paying Boston cops overtime with taxpayer dollars for this, or any event like it, is unacceptable, and not just because this cadre was calling them racist and defunding them just a few years earlier. Ask whoever is funding the Mad Max-like protests to protect criminal illegals or the anti-ICE whistle-blowing AWFL organizers to write you a check.
The BLM folks stole millions, and you still work their narrative. Or perhaps you could find a corporate sponsor who is still more afraid of mass-shooting unhinged trannies (or your political will) than the 80% of the population who think this is all private business and not a priority for the government they pay for.
PBS and NPR didn’t go out of business when taxpayers stopped funding them. Do a telethon, hand out rainbow tote bags to donors.
It really is okay to be you, no matter how absurd anyone else thinks that is, as long as you don’t force them to acknowledge or advocate for it and not at someone else’s expense.
