The NH Patriot Hub is sponsoring a charity walk at the State House in Concord, NH, on September 14, 2024, called the Freedom Walk. It will be a 45-minute walk beginning at 10 a.m. Check-in or day of registrations will begin at 9 a.m.

If you are unable to walk, please join us at 11 a.m. to reserve your seat for our guest speaker. You can also purchase your lunch from the Stark Brewing food truck.

Please check out the QR code on the attached flyer (or visit the website) for details of the event and to find out where you can register for the walk.  We are suggesting a $25.00 donation for adults.  Kids 17 and under are free.

We decided to organize this walk because The Patriot Hub has been sponsoring tours of the Monument to the Forefathers every May and October for the past 2 1/2 years.  Our next tour is on October 12th; you can register here,

We noticed that many people do not know about this Monument, and we are looking to change that with this walk.

We are walking to…(1) Raise money for “The Jenney,” a non-profit company in Plymouth, MA, who give tours of the monument, and the town of Plymouth, to educate all of us on the true history of the founding of our great country.  (2) Raise awareness of the Monument to the Forefathers, and (3) Pay tribute to our Forefathers who gave us a free nation and walked from one battle to the next never looking back.

The Monument to the Forefathers consists of five statues: Faith, the largest in the center, and Morality, Law, Education, and Liberty at the base. Click here, for a five-minute video explaining the meaning behind each statue.

The Monument was built to honor the Pilgrims for their bravery in leaving everyone and everything they had behind to come to the New World in the hope of being able to create a civil government based on Christian Judeo principals where everyone would live in freedom knowing their rights come from God and not man.  Knowing this one truth is how we become self-governing members of society where everyone is treated equally, everyone enjoys the same freedoms and rights, and everyone embraces the fact that each one of us is uniquely made.

We hope you will come and walk with us on September 14th.  The walk will be led by Dave Vose and Sue Walko, a drum and fife player. Michelle Gallagher, the author of the Forefathers Monument Guidebook, will give a presentation while we have lunch.  The Stark Brewing Company will be on site for food and drink purchases.

Note:  Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket for the presentation and lunch!  Remember cash too for raffle tickets.  You can view the raffle items on our website using the QR code above.  We hope you stay for the after party!  We are closing the event with a dance party to the best patriot music ever!
