I think I mentioned that violence on the left at scale was inevitable. Not the parade, protest, riot sort, something much more intentional and aggressive. Yes, you’d have the other stuff we’ve seen, but it would be the widespread insurrection we’ve long expected.
And when the DSA started putting “points on the board,” as Democrat candidates, well, that accelerated and changed the game.
Before the DSA can take over America, it has to consume the Democratic Party, and it means to.

“You better get ready for … war.” Across the country, radicals are openly planning for the next stage of their movement, and notably, the Democratic establishment is not part of their plans. Despite the talk of a “Big Tent Party,” socialists are riding high on a surge of support and talking purges and revolution.
A few key points form Turley’s piece.
- Speakers in Chicago used the conference to push supporters to the next stage in the movement, including some openly calling for violence and the end to capitalism.
- University of California Santa Barbara History Professor Butch Ware said Democrats “must be destroyed” and urged attendees to be ready for “war in the streets.”
- New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed are too restrained and are being pushed by the establishment “to contain radicalism.”
- “The Democrats cannot be reasoned with. They must be destroyed.”
- “You cannot call yourself a revolutionary and not be talking about training with weapons.”
- After one election victory, socialists chanted “You’re Next!” when House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’s image came on big-screen televisions.
- Hasan Piker has called for a purging of moderates from the Democratic Party.
There’s more, and it’s not just Democrats, obviously. These are the same assholes who fill the ranks of Antifa, and whatever it is BLM is, or the anti-ICE folks who aren’t either of the former. Militant, angry, motivated, and feeling like they are not alone, which is the trouble we are looking at, and that too many in the Democratic Party are pandering to.
Out of fear, certainly, a monster they fed and coddled, thinking wrongly again, like with Islam, that they’d be holding some sort of leash instead of hiding under the porch.
