MACDONALD: More Liberal Projection

There have been more than a few “research papers” out there whose purpose was to give the media fuel for the narrative that paints “Conservatives” with all the attributes of Progressives. These are the same kinds of credentialed half-wits who convinced the world that National Socialism was a right-wing project because it was a step or two to the right of Marxist-Leninist Communism.

Totalitarian ideologies with the word Socialism in them are not at opposite ends of anything. The Nazis were leftists, but academics have so inculcated the collective consciousness that many a moderate or center-right stooge can be caught making the approved claim that reducing taxes and shrinking government’s reach or interference in your daily life is Hitlerian.

Stop doing that.

Mark Alexander, at the Patriot Post, regales us with the tale of yet another such research paper.

The American Psychological Association recently published a study by a few “academicians” from Cal-Berkeley and the University of Maryland. The study, entitled “Political Conservatism as Motivated Social Cognition,” purported to have identified some determinants that are common to those holding a “conservative” worldview.

As one reads the report, it becomes readily apparent that their “norm” – that is, their control group – was somewhere to the left of certifiable narcissists such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, and more recently, Barack Obama and Joe Biden – but then, what are we to expect from Cal-Berkeley and UM, or just about any of our nation’s “leading academic institutions”?

Much like the “Hitler was right-wing parrots,” the psychologists had to stretch reality, but even the most simplistic common-man analysis of the facts contradicts their pre-disposed outcome. IN other words, their premise and conclusion are so stupid only an academic or an MSNOW zombie would be dumb enough to believe them.

Lacking a suitable response to this latest ridiculousness, Mark took it upon himself to analyze the particulars of liberals and liberalism evident to anyone ideologically sober enough to see them.

Ideological liberals are uniformly defined by hypocrisy and the resulting dissociation from reality. For example, the wealthiest U.S. senators – Democrats – fancy themselves as defenders of the poor and advocate the redistribution of wealth, but they hoard enormous wealth for themselves and have never missed a meal. They have always been far more dedicated to their country clubs than our country.

Liberals speak of unity, but they seed foment, appealing to the worst in human nature by dividing Americans into dependent constituencies. What constitutes these liberal constituencies? They support freedom of thought, unless your thoughts don’t comport with theirs. They feign tolerance while practicing intolerance. They resist open discussion and debate of their views, yet seek to silence dissenters.

They denounce capital punishment for the most heinous of criminals, while ardently supporting the killing of the most innocent among us – children prior to birth. They loathe individual responsibility, and advocate for statism. They eschew private initiative and enterprise while promoting all manner of government control and regulation. They insist that they care more about protecting habitat than those who hunt and fish, and protest for the preservation of natural order while advocating homosexuality and its malignant variants.

If you look at who supports the DSA, for example, the furthest left public expression we have available, it is not working-class or minority populations. It’s privileged white liberals.

Liberals constantly assert their First Amendment rights, except, of course, when it comes to religion or speech that does not agree with their own. Here, they firmly impose the doctrines of secular atheism on everyone else. They hate the idea of self reliance, and Second Amendment rights cause them much consternation. They believe that second-hand smoke is more dangerous than marijuana and crack smoke. They believe that one nut accused of bombing an abortion clinic deserves far more law-enforcement attention than Jihadi cells planning the 9/11 attacks. They call 9/11 victims “Hitlerian” while calling their murderers “oppressed.”

They hate SUVs, unless imported and driven by their soccer mom constituents. They advocate mass transit but commute on private jets. They are earth-worshippers and see themselves as the ultimate arbiters of “climate change.” They believe trial lawyers save lives and doctors kill people. They believe the solution to racism is to treat people differently on the basis of the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. They deride moral clarity because they can’t survive its scrutiny. They promote peace but foment division and hate.

There’s more. A lot more. You should read it all. Fuel for the fire. A way to motivate yourself in the dwindling weeks to the midterms. Though much of this is too heavy for the average American who tries to keep their head low and avoid getting blindsided by some angry white female liberal giving away tickets to her progressive freak show.

You will need to find a way to spoon-feed it to them, or we could simplify the whole debate into more digestible bits. Republicans trust you to make the best decisions about how to spend the money you earned. From how you spend it to where you donate it.

Democrats don’t, and there are no limits to how much they must take or how they will take it from you to ensure it gets spent on what matters to them.

Blue cities and states are the poster children, and there isn’t a Democrat running for anything anywhere that doesn’t want to emulate those failures upon you, at your expense.
