MACDONALD: More ANTIFA Thugs Indicted

In year one of Trump 2.0, the DOJ made it clear that Antifa was not, as the progressives who benefited from its intimidation tactics, the Keebler Elves. It was real, and rather than a disconnected coincidence like Book Club (as the proglodytes kept claiming), Antifa was a well-funded, well-trained, well-organized militant guerrilla group. Everyone paying attention knew this, whether they’d looked up the history or not. They were red shirts in black block, using the fear of fascism to advance the goals of Marxism.

Not long after Mr. Trump directed his Department of Justice to address these domestic terrorists and sent Scott Bessent at Treasury to follow their money, Johan Victoran and Mark Brey, among others, fled the country. Ran away. Things that are not real do not feel the need to do this, but the Left persists. Sometimes it brags. James McLeod, a now-former Town Moderator in Raymond, New Hampshire, was so proud to be a part of Antifa that we did a story on it. Residents asked, we shared, and while it took a while, he’s out.

Not everyone goes so easily.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Justice unsealed a 94-page indictment against 15 members of the Minneapolis-based Antifa group “Direct Action Minnesota” (DAMN). Originally filed under seal on June 11, the indictment describes a detailed conspiracy to coordinate, obstruct, and carry out violent acts against DHS and ICE employees to prevent them from carrying out their sworn duties.

Neither the charges nor the arrests are what is most interesting. It is the evidence that, despite the Left’s moaning and groaning about how Antifa is some right-wing conspiracy no more organized than Taylor Swift fans, groups like DAMN are incredibly organized, their activities coordinated and premeditated.

The indictments outline detailed, structured planning across finances, communication, and tactics. They created shared databases and rapid response networks. All to perpetuate obstruction of justice, interference with the exercise of sworn duties, and a number of actual assaults on local and federal agents.

Thirteen of the fifteen are in custody, while two remain at large. As likely or not seeking refuge in some other Antifa group that doesn’t really exist and isn’t a foreign-funded Marxist domestic terror cell organized to undermine the Republic.
