MACDONALD: Be an Active Agent of American Greatness!

The Democrats have been very clear about what will happen if they win in November. They will go to war. Pro-Tip: They will go to war if they lose, but if they lose, you have a much better chance of winning across every political issue, for years or decades to come, and if you hadn’t noticed, every issue is political.

Democrats made it that way. It is how they leverage fear, anger, and lies into campaign donations and even victory. They will never make anything that is not political, and anything that is not yet will be. Everything in the state is nothing outside it. Period. But they can’t run on taxing and regulating everything, especially your day-to-day life. Even Democrats don’t like that, but the only way for life to get less political is to vote Republican.

I get it, not every Republican is a great candidate, and some of them have an annoying habit of thinking that if they appease the left, which will get them a seat at the table, even if it’s the kiddie table. Observant watches understand that it is not the case. Give them an inch and the progs will bitch about why you didn’t give them a yard. You can’t please them and should stop trying.

There is no middle ground upon which they will settle. The extremists define the platform, drive the issues, and anyone who refuses to go there gets treated like they kiss Trump’s jackboots.

Trump wins because he runs with conviction and he does everything he can to keep the promises he makes. Pastel Republicans can’t even begin to match his certitude, and while you don’t have to love the Queens bravado that litters Donald Trump’s commentary, you have permission to offer up the sorts of concrete contrasts necessary to win in November or any election.

The left has nothing to run on but hating Trump and undoing his good work to date. What work? Lower crime, more jobs, investment in America, doing the UN’s job of leveraging power to create peace, a world that’s less violent and divided. An America that leads the world in growth, jobs, manufacturing, technology, and energy because we’ll do it here, cleaner, safer, and better.

How do you sell that? You make contrasts.

Why should you vote for me or vote Republican?

If one more Republican in Congress (the statehouse, the city council, or selectboard means our neighborhoods are safer, then that’s a great reason.

If we can keep fentanyl and drug deaths in decline, inflation low and steady, keep criminals and our enemies from entering the country, real job growth climbing, career criminals behind bars and not out without bail, massive private investment that creates jobs you don’t have to pay for pouring into your states and cities, continue to shrink the size of government, root out Medicaid, SNAP, Medicare, Social Security, and other fraud, pass bills that cut taxes and let regular Americans keep more of their money, expand savings programs for kids 9Trump Accounts), continue lowering prescription drug costs, (Trump RX), keeping our enemies on their toes and our allies eager to do business with us, lead the world in energy development and energy security, keeping men from robbing girls and women of sports scholarships, medals, awards, and trophies, continue to get unnecessary and often dangerous chemicals out of the food supply, get drug makers to actually test their products and accept accountability for what they sell, build on an economy that will eventually be affordable for everyone, and a lot more.

How about a party that wants to find a way to end the useless Department of Education and the dreaded IRS?

Democrats don’t want any of those things. They have fought against all of them, and others, and will continue to fight. They’ve declared it a war. Their agenda is clear. We saw what that meant under Biden, and it’s not good for you or America. They will put the brakes on everything, reverse whatever progress they can, and go on a revenge tour. That’s it. So, while you may not love Republicans, you don’t have to. But you do need to elect them because, without them, none of that stuff happens, and most of it goes backward the moment they get the chance.

The Left spent the last century breaking the country; no one can fix it overnight, and Democrats don’t want it fixed. They want the NGO laundromats, the systemic welfare fraud, criminals loose on the streets, illegals sucking up money from programs meant for Americans, offshored jobs and manufacturing, the FBI investigating parents who speak up at School Board meetings, real censorship, government-controlled public expression, mobs like Antifa intimidating regular citizens, and federal agencies that help activist groups doxx private citizens.

It’s an easy decision, but you have to convince people to make it. Be honest but be bold. There is no comparison.

Now, listen to Chris Garden again, and then get out there and sell it. Every issue, every opportunity. Be an active agent of American greatness!
