MACDONALD: Idiot Left-Wing White Millionaires

Democrats are terrified that Congress could find a way to make everyone prove both who they are and that they are a citizen, before voting in Federal elections. And why wouldn’t they be? If invoked, the next election might reveal how many “seats” they have erroneously occupied thanks to the interests of non-citizens or people who voted illegally using someone else’s name.

None of that ID stuff will stop the fraud, where there’s a will, as they say, but it could put a hitch in its step, and Democrats are making absolute idiots out of themselves trying to impress upon regular Americans just how incompetent minorities, women, and minority women are regarding photo ID.

Let’s forget that they already have it. ID. And anyone on the dole does, and as we’ve noted elsewhere, because it is impossible to do anything anymore without an ID, which is why so many of them get stolen. And a significant super-majority of every demographic except elected Democrats has neither an issue with getting them nor using them to vote.

In today’s example, the real idiots are white Democrat millionaires.

Jonathan Jones at Western Journal took the challenge and discovered with barely any effort at all that,

.. armed with nothing more than caffeine and mild curiosity, I called the relevant offices in South CarolinaCalifornia, and New York, where Sanders was born, just to confirm what I suspected.

The process of obtaining the unicorn document known as a birth certificate is simple and inexpensive. It is almost too simple.

It’s probably WAY too easy, and I’m not even sure any of that relates to what Bernie and Gavin are on about. Of course, they don’t know where it is or how to do it, but they both have well-paid assistants who do or can. Neither of them has likely had to interface with the lower levels of the bureaucracies they helped create for years.

You might as well have asked Andrew, formerly known as “Prince,” who tidied the shrubbery (and that isn’t meant as slang for something to which he has been notoriously linked). These topiaries are marvelous, aren’t they?

Slanders and Nuisance don’t do the people’s work, despite what you might have read in the tri-fold glossies. They have people for that. But even they realize that you can’t pretend to be of the people and admit you have people who manage the dreary day-to-day of making sure their passport hasn’t expired before they take a private jet to undermine American interests overseas. Something for which one would need a birth certificate and a friendly Senator to expedite it.

Bernie already is one of those so he could just ask his people to do that too, which is what he would have done already, which means he has far more important things to direct his hive mind at than whether his passport is current or which of his staffers carries his ID so he can vote against requiring any to vote, despite everyone else thinking it a good idea.

I’ll close with a story that I’ve told before, but that frames all of this, and a lot more, in the proper perspective. Many years ago, I was managing restaurants full-time. A supervisor called me to ask if I wanted to transfer back to a location in New Hampshire, knowing that getting transferred to Massachusetts a year previously had wrankled me a good deal. Non-resident state taxes. I didn’t sign up to pay them, but there I was.

The unit manager at that restaurant had quit, and if I agreed, he’d have someone new from Mass to replace me where I was, and I could come back to NH the following Monday. He said he would run it for the four days between now and then. Not two days later, he called, exasperated by the work, hours, and the level of difficulty the job entailed. He wanted me there that day, and he’d figure the rest out himself.

This is a guy who came up from an hourly employee to an hourly manager to a salaried store manager and then eventually to an area supervisor, but he’d been out of the mix long enough that he had no real sense of what that job involved. Disconnected. Out of touch. It happens to a lot of people, and quite a few never had to do a thing to acquire their wealth, so they’ve no clue about anything in the real world at all.

Sanders has never been anything but a public servant who finds ways to deprive other people of their money to pay for what he believes. Newsom isn’t much different, and both have been away from reality for a very long time.

It’s a great argument for term limits.

How you apply that to political climbers short of a better-informed electorate is a mystery, but at least they know how to get an ID if, by some strange circumstance, they lost the one they had.

It is a fact, after all, that very few actual Americans have no identification of any sort. It’s the non-citizens who need the sort of help Newsom and Sanders require, but if you can fast-track non-English-speaking non-citizens to a CDL, how hard a problem can that be?

Seriously.
