MACDONALD: Democrats are Dangerous Cowards

As I noted yesterday, I broke with tradition and watched the entire State of the Union. It was time well spent, and Democrats stepped on landmines all night long, inside and out. Their alternative programs were failures or absurd failures, while inside the House Chamber, the best and brightest helped craft an endless stream of campaign commercials all the way to November.

But wait, there’s more.

It was absurd and sad and then amusing and exhilarating. The cowards branded themselves and their party as incapable of compromise or even common decency, entirely on partisan political grounds. Add to that Suan Rice’s recent threats that, should they achieve power, anyone who dared to be something else should expect retribution.

They’ve never been the party of unity, nor do they reach across the aisle unless the other side is filled with their people who think like them or are afraid to think any other way.

Take the picture in that frame and tell me how it fits in your life. Intolerant, arrogant, cowards who, in one moment, insist no one is above the law and then declare some right to break it. That includes laws they have advocated for with conditions or exceptions that can only apply to them.

Americans inclined to think that elected Democrats will never take anyone’s best interests to heart if they do not advance their own needs to heed these warnings. Everything is political. Nothing is outside the state; everything is their way or no way, and none of them has the backbone to step off that plantation, even for a few moments, for fear of the radicals who have complete control of that party.

You might also accept that even if they decided to try and rein in the trans-shooters and Anti-ICE AWFULs, they wouldn’t for fear that they would turn on them. They are afraid of their own creations, with no sign that they intend to shut that factory down.
