EWING: Rebellion In Minnesota Results in Deaths

by

It’s said that a lie flies around the world before the truth gets its shoes on.  Some media and people rush to prejudice people with an incomplete and inaccurate view of the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minnesota.

These regrettable shootings are being used by Democrats to slow or stop the arrests and deportations of violent criminal illegal aliens.  As a result, men, women, and children will be killed, raped, robbed, and otherwise victimized.

When state and local officials work with ICE, arrests of illegal aliens go safely and efficiently, life for Americans becomes safer and more affordable, schools and healthcare improve, and jobs increase.

Unfortunately, the Minnesota Democrat officials are leading a rebellion against our Democracy by fighting the enforcement of our nation’s democratically enacted laws.  They keep police from assisting ICE. They encourage protests, making ICE’s job harder and more dangerous.  They free jailed illegal aliens rather than giving them to ICE; this forces ICE to search for these criminals in the community, endangering the criminals, ICE, and bystanders.

Neither Good nor Pretti was protesting.  Both were committing crimes by interfering with lawful ICE operations.  Neither complied with lawful orders to stop interfering.  When Good tried to escape, she hit an ICE officer with her car.  Pretti fought with ICE while possessing a loaded weapon.  Both made officers believe their lives were in jeopardy.

Both Good and Pretti would be alive if they followed ICE’s lawful directions; their actions directly led to their deaths.  Investigations will determine if these regrettable deaths were legally justified.

It’s also true that if Minnesota Democrat officials hadn’t defied our nation’s laws, hadn’t slandered ICE, stoking high emotions, and hadn’t seduced Good and Pretti to interfere with ICE, Good and Pretti would be alive.
