MACDONALD: AWFLs Get An Upgrade And “They” Don’t Like It

If you don’t know what an AWFL is, it stands for Angry White Female Liberal. We all know one or of one, because they can’t shut up. These “ladies” are the top of the spear for almost every left-wing “street action” product. Don’t want your kids reading groomer porn? There’s an AWFL, or more likely a room full of them, waiting to call you a book banner. Your schools are filled with them, collecting taxpayer-funded paychecks. And they get themselves shot when they try to run over ICE agents.

TikTok is top-heavy with them crying and screaming from the driver’s seat of parked cars all across America about how Donald Trump is a nazi, tyrant. During COVID, we called them Karens, and the name continues to evolve. There’s a new acronym. AWFULs. Affluent White Female Urban Liberal.

The New York Times was the first paper to report on this new “offensive” term.

“Beyond labels and name-calling, the death of Ms. Good and the protests and anger in its wake have sparked a response from many on the right that is particularly targeted at white women in the streets, even though men have been just as involved,” the paper wrote. “A majority of college-educated women, including white women, have long been skeptical of President Trump’s Make America Great Again movement, and that skepticism has been growing, according to exit polls after the 2024 election. And for months now, such women are attracting the ire of the president’s supporters.”

They attracted the ire of everyone who wasn’t smitten with the response to COVID when we called them Karens. They are so prevelant that I expect an added diagnosis under Trump Derangement Syndrome. Every AWFL and AWFUL has it, but they have that and something more but never fear. The New York Times has already set up the framework for the debate.

But for the broader core of Mr. Trump’s followers, the description of white, urban women as violent radicals obstructing mass deportations seems to reflect older anxieties around race, gender and immigration among the white, non-college educated men who make up the core of Mr. Trump’s movement and perceive their place in society slipping, said Dr. Shauna Shames, a political scientist at Rutgers and co-editor of the book “The Right Women: Republican Party Activists, Candidates, and Legislators.”

Liberal academics have been diagnosing what they see as the problem. Laura K. Field, author of the book “Furious Minds: The Making of the MAGA New Right,” said social, demographic and economic changes had left men with a sense that they have lost status.

“Women are, for many of them, the place holder for their ‘stolen’ status,” she asserted.

It’s not the screaming harpies whom we can literally see shrieking and, in the case of Nicole Good, actually obstructing the enforcement of laws passed by Congress to protect criminals who have broken that law. But clearly, this is not what we think it is.

When angry white women yell “book banners” at the School Board meeting but can’t explain why there are no books by anyone on the center right in the same libraries, and that’s not book banning, the real answer is insecure white men lashing out. Being called a book-banner and a nazi is an acceptable response by women of superior economic or social status.

So, why aren’t these men or their trad wives blocking children from getting to the books or checking them out of the library and never giving them back?

Crickets.

I don’t see anyone doxxing librarians or teachers who make the content accessible to other people’s kids, something that would get the insecure white male arrested and put on the sex offender registry if he tried it in his neighborhood with the local grade-schoolers.

I know. The New York Times has to defend them. It has to misdirect blame. And having given permission, the rest of the print media universe can pick up their standard and regurgitate it. Nor can we expect them to permit any other interpretation. Like, say, this one.

“…women who identify as liberal are “extremely intense.”

“I think it has to do with this idea of misplaced mothering. And this is not just for white women. This is just for women in general,” she explains.

Misplaced mothering is when women — who have a natural biological instinct to nurture children — instead put that instinct into pets, plants, politics, or their profession.”

Wait for it!

“This kind of disordered channeling of the nurturing, beautifying, cultivating, mothering instinct creates a kind of inner discord and disorder that lends itself to bitterness and can lend itself to instability and lends itself to outsized passion when it comes to social justice projects and social justice causes,” Stuckey explains.

“The illegal alien becomes your child, or the gangbanger becomes your child, or this man who thinks that he’s caught in the wrong body and just wants to go into the girls’ locker room becomes your child. These causes become your children, the perceived victim in these causes become your children,” she continues.

“And this is all triggered by what I call toxic empathy,” she says, pointing out that the more empathetic a person is, the more likely they are to be radicalized.

Renee Nicole Good was a heterosexual with children by them, who became a lesbian, cut her hair short, and then abandoned her kids to become a TDS-infected, federal agent obstructing anti-ICE street activist.

She wasn’t fulfilled by her children. Blocking ICE to protect criminals wasn’t exactly in their best interests. Nor can we say she was fulfilled by sex with women unless, as her “wife” suggested, it was her own radicalization that drew Renee into a fray that ended with her suicide by “cop,” when she drove her SUV into a federal agent and got a bullet in the head in exchange. She liked it so much that she adopted dangerous behavior that shuffled off her mortal coil.

In “Renee Nicole “Not So” Good Mother of Three,” I shared some thoughts from a mother about how she could not begin to understand what the hell was going through Renee Good’s head and, presumably, any number of women like her.

A 37-year-old woman. Three kids. Middle of a work week. The father of those children is dead. She is the parent left. The one job she has above every cause, every protest, every headline, is getting home to her kids.

And what is she doing instead?

She’s out of state (other reports claim she lives there), in the street, in her car, blocking federal agents who are doing their job.

Neither feminism nor motherhood nor the L in LGBT brnig fullfillment, but being AWFL or AWFUL does?

That’s got nothing to do with men of any color.

“The more highly empathetic someone is, actually, the meaner they can be to those that they don’t perceive as the victim. If you perceive this one person as the oppressed … you’re putting all your feelings in how they feel. Everyone that you see as oppressing that victim becomes your enemy, and you become absolutely ruthless to them,” she explains.

This is why so many highly empathetic women are going to bat for Renee Nicole Good, when if you scroll through their social media history, they’re dancing on the grave of Charlie Kirk.

“She feels like she is like a mother and protector of all of these supposedly marginalized groups,” Stuckey says, “Everyone that she sees as the oppressor becomes the enemy, and she is cruel towards them, and she will fight them tooth and nail.”

And yet, we don’t see any Trad-wives doing the same thing. Sarah Palin’s mama bears. Do we?

Progressive angst has broken these women, filled their heads with crap, and they are dying over it. They don’t need the New York Times or anyone else defending their AWFUL behavior. They need their phones taken away, their internet disconnected, and some serious mental health help.
