We now have United States congressmen acting like bedeviled insurrectionists. They are actually implying that our military may not follow lawful federal orders issued by our Commander-in-Chief, because they suggest those orders could be illegal. It sure sounds like they are asking the intelligence community as well as the military to essentially overthrow Trump.
Concurrently, the left-wing media sites, including CNN and MSNBC, are warning viewers that we are on the brink of civil war because ICE is removing illegal, alien criminals from our country. Why does ICE occasionally grab some who are not criminals? Millions of migrants entered this country, illegally and unvetted, under the Biden shadow government years. Democrat mayors and their sanctuary city policies have been hiding people here illegally while resisting ICE. The Democrat Party created this horrible mess, and then they complain that ICE isn’t doing things correctly.
In David Horowitz’s 2021 book, “The Enemy Within”, he describes a brewing cultural civil war because the Democrat Party has become anti-constitutional, anti-American, racist, and totalitarian. Also anti-semitic, I might add. Michael Savage was ahead of the curve when he wrote a book by the same title in 2003. He offers a quote from Marcus Tullius Cicero – “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.”

These books are clarion calls for everyone regarding the urgency of how the enemy within is the Democrat Party and its embracing of Marxism and its disgust for our constitutional republic with its borders, language, and culture.
Alexis de Tocqueville described modern liberalism as soft tyranny. Democrats have stealthily guided the Trojan horse of betrayal into our lives to sabotage everything positive that this country has stood for. As Kahlil Gibran noted in “The Prophet”, you give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. Isn’t it time we give this attack on our institutions our full attention?
