A few reminders to start. No matter what they say, the alleged problem is the warming that you cause (even though it’s not you). None of their models work (if you want to read a wonky article about one that does, but doesn’t predict climate Armageddon, look here). The entire exercise is about ending free-market capitalism (which they’ll admit if you ply them with enough drinks or catch them in an open-mic moment). Everything that disproves any theory about climate change (global warming) proves.
It is a religion, not science.
With those reminders tucked away, we are due for a summary or conclusion to the 2025 Hurricane season: a round-up, a massive rotating storm of inconvenient truths. The first is that this season’s conclusion is the only “hurricane” to make a US landfall this year.
In the Atlantic Basin, tropical activity ended up slightly above the normal in terms of ACE thanks in large part to the end-of-season blockbuster hurricane named “Melissa” which reached category 5 status and lasted for a lengthy period. However, there were no landfalling hurricanes in the US for the first time since 2015, and the number of hurricanes, 5, was below the long-term average of 7.2.

None of their prophets graced them with a landfall and the wreckage necessary for them to praise the angry climate gods and demand tribute from the non-believers to appease them.
Fear not. If what appears to be a natural pattern of the rise and fall of accumulated cyclonic energy holds, we’ll be up to our armpits in storm surge and wreckage by 2027/2028.

For now, no joy. Not that it matters. The absence of hurricanes is as much proof of your complicity in the warming of the planet as their absence.
That’s how the climate cult works because you can’t keep the coffers full of other people’s money, otherwise.
