Democrats in Congress are still desperate for a win. Any win. Something that will make their base happy. Wait, you mean they aren’t actually using their legislative and oversight powers for good? No chance of that. They need to make sure the rank-and-file proglodytes fill out (and send) all of their mail-in ballots or goose-step to the polls. And as much as they’ve been indoctrinated to hate Trump, if their laundresses in Congress don’t please them, they might not even put on their jackboots come 11-3-2026.
It’s been nearly eleven months, and the progs have taken more shots than I can recall, and might not even be able to say they broke even. An endless stream of 80/20 issues on which they chose the wrong side, and the latest is the alleged Hegseth double-tap.
The progressives are going to try to impeach Secretary of War Hegseth for war crimes, which is an excellent choice because we get to revisit (again) the more than 500 civilian casualties resulting from drone strikes ordered by Herr Obama, over which Democrats barely blinked: non-combatants, women, children, even Americans. Obama blowed ’em all up, and that didn’t get near enough press at the time. The Handmaiden media was still too busy with tingly legs and breathless admiration for Michelle Obama’s arms. But thanks to the new media, having emerged from under the censorship rock that the Auto-Pen president tried to hide them under, more folks than ever will learn something new.
Trump is attacking confirmed narco-terror targets bringing fentanyl laced heroin and cocaine to kill kids on America’s streets. Obama was killing women and children in the name of a war on terror. Democrats don’t even believe in it, but they executed it because they didn’t want everyone to know they were wearing women’s panties (though not all the women, rumor has it).
Modern Dems were weak on national defense before they put Kamal in charge of keeping the border open. An extension of the Obama open border that started the American kid-killing epidemic in 2014 (you may have been distracted by all the incomplete reporting about drone strikes on terrorists). Mr. Trump and Mr. Hegseth have orders to take the war on drugs literally, while Dems are looking for a way to help their Marxist buddy Maduro, who is comingling with Iran, China, Cuba, and Russia, not just drug runners funding FARC guerrillas in Colombia.
The plan is to blow up all the drug boats, making land transport more difficult. So, let’s ignore what Obama did to civilians and focus on what Hegseth did to narco-terrorists. Both discussions are important because maybe we shouldn’t be doing either one, more likely, the prevailing narrative is making you question the mission and the validity of its methods. Maybe this helps.
As Democrats escalate their attacks in the wake of Capitol Hill briefings by U.S. Special Operations Command commander Admiral Frank M. Bradley, prominent military defense attorney and former Trump Navy lawyer Tim Parlatore told RedState that politicians are deliberately mischaracterizing lawful combat actions. In an exclusive interview, Parlatore laid out the legal distinction at the heart of the controversy:
“You have a boat full of cocaine and terrorists heading to this country to poison and kill Americans. That’s a legitimate target.” Parlatore said. “You then do battle damage assessment. The boat and the cargo remain legitimate military targets that SOUTHCOM has been ordered to put on the bottom of the ocean.” …
“Take the Battle of Midway. One of the Japanese carriers we blew up was burning, dead in the water, no longer able to fight or launch aircraft, and it was full of wounded Japanese sailors. You know what we did? We kept throwing torpedoes into it until it went to the bottom of the ocean. And that was lawful. The goal was to put the ship down so it couldn’t be towed back, repaired, and put back into the fight. The goal was not to kill all the wounded Japanese sailors on board.”
And maybe it doesn’t help, but if you focus on yet another example of two-faced Dems and their two-tiered approach to law of any sort, we can work out the other details as we move along.
I have some reservations about the Navy build-up, but part of that includes protecting Guyana’s claims and interests in one of the largest offshore oil finds in recent history. Venezuela wants it, and they might be willing to engage in kinetic action to make their point.
Trump has the Nazy there shooting up drug boats, and drugs, while it looks over its shoulder to make sure Venezuela gets the message. We can sit here for a while disrupting your drug funding operation and saving some American lives in the process.
At some point, Democrats are going to have to accept that the only difference between what Obama did and what Trump is doing is that Trump isn’t’ blowing up women and children to do it.
