Never let a crisis go to waste. The quote attributed to Obama-Bro Rham Emmanuel, but he borrowed, without attribution (I believe), from Saul Alinsky. Alinsky got the idea (probably) from Machiavelli, or perhaps Churchill, or the common collective unconscious. It’s not a far-reaching idea to accept that crisis happens (to some more than others), and how you respond can create advantage.
Grifters live and die by this sort of opportunity, and the Democrat party, more than almost any other organization in American history, uses government to create a crisis to which it can then make some advantage. Their entire ruling philosophy is founded on it.
Create problems, then claim the government that created them can fix them if you give it a little more money or a little more power. Or a lot.
Joe Biden’s infirmity presented a significant opportunity for the grifters in government, especially those close to the White House. This begs the question: How many illegal orders did he give, and not just to the US military? When the Cat was “resting,” sleeping, or on vacation, and he did that a lot, who was calling the shots, which includes the job as Commander-in-Chief of the US Military?
Remember, the Buck stopped with Joe. He said it more than once. And the seditious six have provided an opportunity to explore the possibility beyond the lead meme, top-of-the-fold, in today ‘s installment of Midweek Memes.
The order had several purposes, not the least of which was to drive out soldiers or officers who might conscientiously object to, guess what? Using the US military inside the homeland against its own citizens. It was the Biden Administration and Democrats who opened that Pandora’s box, the same way that it was Obama who weaponized federal agencies, militarized local police departments, and used the DOJ to grab control, or at least significant oversight, of local police departments.
Incidents were leveraged into crises for that very purpose (Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, George Floyd), because you can’t have a command-and-control economy and a progressively more socialist state without control over police powers in every form. As COVID showed us, not everyone is so broken that they’ll bend over and let you shove an experimental drug up their ass.
Democrats are all in on using the National Guard for whatever fancy materializes inside their pointy little heads. And ordering the military to do unconstitutional or illegal things is only necessary if they can’t find a way to make what they want to do legal and constitutional.
And that should concern Americans more than anything. They don’t just want that; their ideological goals need it, and they will do or say anything to get there from here with their hands on the levers.
While we wait, someone ought to make a list of all the likely illegal orders given by the Biden Administration. I’m sure there’s more than one.
