MACDONALD: The Dems Take Another “Hostage” – This Time It’s Democracy!

Another episode of the reality television series, “Schumer Shutdown,” just dropped. Senate Republican Leader John Thune offered an exchange. A promised scheduled vote on the Obamacare subsidy that Dems are using to hold the government hostage in exchange for opening the government on the clean CR. Pass the CR, and we’ll set a hard date for a vote on your subsidies.

According to reports, Chuckie Schumer said no debate, no consideration, no Democracy. No deal. Give us what we want, or the government stays closed. No one gets paid.

I suppose we should revisit what they want. They want to send many millions to foreign nations for bullshit projects, which we reported on Thursday, but the big one is making COVID-Era Obamacare subsidies permanent. Forever. No further debate or consideration. No Democracy. Reinstate inflated adjustments from the no-longer-existent pandemic or no-deal.

Those include taxpayer-supported health plans for non-citizens, but that’s not all they do.

“The Obamacare subsidy issue is not the issue of today. It is a subsidy that expires December 31. We were always planning to continue the debate and discussion … . It’s a very complicated, complex matter. There are no income caps on that. By the way, did you know that if you’re a hardworking taxpayer … you are subsidizing wealthy people’s health care with that subsidy?”

Johnson explained that he and the rest of the Republican leadership are incapable of guaranteeing a result from Congress, a deliberative body.

“We have 535 members between the House and Senate. There’s a lot of people in this deliberative body here. That’s a very complicated issue. It’s not something that four people can go into a back room and guarantee an outcome on. It can’t be done,” he said.

Schumer and Dems refuse to let your reps have a say in your funding of health plans for rich people and non-citizens alike. No debate. No considerations, no modification. Give it to us, or we keep voting against the clean CR and presumably every other budget bill on standby.

Someone should ask the Dems why they think rich people and criminals (it is against the law to enter the nation illegally) should get taxpayer-propped-up health benefits. And why is it okay to freeze pay and benefits for actual Americans until they get it?

Don’t expect the Handmaiden media to ask.

While you’re at it, ask them if it is okay to engage in political violence to get what Dems want?
