The Clintons were famous for (among other things) taking souvenirs from the White House when their time ended in January of 2001. Things that temps don’t typically get to keep. I’m not sure if the Bidens followed the Clintons’ lead, but whoever was running the Biden Administration shoveled hundreds of billions of debt-bloating dollars into every progressive nook and cranny they could find—the biggest last-minute taxpayer-funded gimme to fellow travelers in perhaps all of US history.
The Trump Administration has been working to claw it back to the siren song of whining Dems who pretend this will somehow cause financial harm to everyday Americans. As if robbing more billions from future taxpayers, not yet old enough to vote, will “lower costs.”
The Federal government spends more than 4 trillion a year and has accumulated over 35 trillion in debt, and costs are as high or higher than they’ve ever been. Stealing money from other people has failed to lower the cost of anything, especially government.
That hasn’t stopped the proglodytes from pretending it’s not true.
“At a time when working families are getting crushed by skyrocketing energy costs and the planet is literally burning, sabotaging this program isn’t just wrong — it’s absolutely insane,” he said in a Aug. 5 statement. “We will fight back to preserve this enormously important program.”
That’s Sen. Bernie Sanders, whose Solar for All program was just killed by Lee Zeldin at the EPA. It allocated 7 billion (with a B) on the premise that it could “expand solar energy access to low-income and disadvantaged communities, reduce energy costs, and address climate concerns.”
Ironically, the climate in question creates disadvantaged communities by making energy an unreliable luxury, as debt is accumulated until the economy collapses. That’s their plan, and the only “someones” who benefit are legislators and the favored industries that donate to their campaigns using laundered taxpayer dollars from programs like Solar for All.
Sen. Edward Markey (D-Mass.), member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, said the program was projected to save participating households an average of $400 in energy bills annually, and that terminating it could drive up the costs.
$400.00 energy bills for residential homeowners who were not self-made political millionairs living in palatial estates, was unheard of until Democrats made that the norm. Absent left-wing activism, America would have spent the past four decades running on cheap nuclear, natural gas, and increasingly less coal (which would become cheaper and more available for coke and steel).
They lied about Nuclear and regulated the crap out of it to kill it. They invented the climate crisis and its lies as a foundation for a political conquest of the economy and, ultimately, the means of production. And the Solar for All program was another idiotic Democratic idea to make energy less reliable and more expensive.
Paying to install solar panels on low-income homes doesn’t make solar less expensive or the electricity it produces cheaper. And robbing another 7 billion dollars from the economy, even without the debt service it creates, can’t make anything more affordable.
