A few years back, during the dark ages of Social media censorship, we had a massive reach on Facebook and a thriving Facebook Group. After FB added fake fact-checkers, we got throttled, squashed, and the group had to be mothballed.
By March of 2021, Facebook was prepared, because of the shared content on the group, to kick me off Facebook and the GraniteGrok Facebook Page and Group Page with it. To mitigate damage, we unrolled the Group, and it went dark.
I’m not sure if it’s a sign of the times, but I have access to the Group again, and Facebook is nudging me to use it.
If that’s the case, I invite all of you who still use Facebook to join or rejoin the Group, and let’s see if we can begin to repair the loss of reach we experienced during the Biden era. We had some rather interesting conversations there on a wide range of subjects, and it would be great to get that going again.
I’m not expecting Facebook to put up with all of the proven true “conspiracy theories,” but in its day, the Grok Group was a rocking throwdown of a good time.
