CARDELLO: Trump Can Walk, Chew Gum, Solve A Rubik’s Cube, And Trigger Democrats At The Same Time

The month of August is supposed to be a quiet time in Washington, D.C., with Congress and the Supreme Court on recess, so there should be little to report. Well, these are not ordinary times, and instead of a steady stream of videos of Biden on the beach in Rehoboth, we have videos of Trump signing peace agreements, arranging a summit with Putin, and taking over the safety concerns for the District of Columbia. It is just another day in the life of a driven Donald Trump, who only has four years to get the world on solid footing for the next generation. God built the earth in seven days, but Trump only has four years to fix it.

Trump and his team are working at a frenetic pace, which looks even more fast-paced when compared with the recent Biden effort, which operated at half speed from ten until two, Tuesday through Thursday. Every facet of the team is operating at peak efficiency. From Bondi, Gabbard, and Patel taking on the heads of the intelligence community of the last 12 years, to RFKJ working feverishly to rid our foods of dangerous chemicals, eliminate junk food from SNAP programs, and to ensure vaccine safety, to Marco Rubio securing peace agreements in every corner of the globe, and to Trump himself bringing trillions of dollars of investment home from overseas. To say the Trump administration is a masterclass in government efficiency would be an insult to the effort. The Trump Presidency is a graduate class in how to get things done for the American people despite zero cooperation from the Democrats.

The daily drone of anti-Trump rhetoric has gotten old very quickly. The predictions of economic doom and existential threats to our democracy have proven as hollow as the Democratic playbook. The all-out effort to run against Donald Trump on every issue, rather than being creative and having a viable alternative, has failed. Trump’s policies are working. Whether it is the economy, the border, deportation, making permanent the middle-class tax cuts, European safety through NATO, or eliminating Iran’s nuclear program and securing the safety of Israel, Trump has done it all. For us on the Right, every day has been like Christmas morning, as we wake to see what Donald has left under our flagpole. To the Left, Trump is that brain-freeze headache that lasts for hours. It is so much fun to watch, and the payback is oh so sweet. Just imagine how much he could accomplish if the Democrats were not delaying hundreds of appointments in the Senate. Trump’s sense of humor is as sharp as ever, and he loves to raise the Democrat blood pressure by 30 points by comparing himself to Washington and Lincoln. He loves to say he could beat that combined ticket by 40 points, making the Democrats absolutely apoplectic. Even Mamdani, the Socialist candidate for mayor of New York City, has decided to make the race about being anti-Trump, instead of pro-New Yorkers. When the ace in your deck is government-run grocery stores, you had better opt for deflection. When you are living in a rent-controlled apartment, yet making twice the required income, you had better attack Trump, because you have lost the people, if not the race.

Trump and his team are not just seeing the big picture, they are seeing every opportunity in the whole picture. No issue is too big or small to address, and as quickly as possible, for there is more to do. From remodeling the White House, oh, does the Left hate the color gold, to restoring peace on earth, Donald Trump is designing the future handbook for the presidency. It may be generations before America sees a man, or woman, with Trump’s skill set to understand it. Let’s pray we don’t waste the remainder of this incredible term; either be a part of it or get out of the way.
