MacDonald: Trump Made Dems Demand Release of “Epstein Files”

Are There Other Tricks Up His Sleeve?

I think it’s crazy for MAGA supporters to suggest breaking up the coalition over the Epstein Files FUBAR. They are not the beginning and the end of the elite’s international child sex trafficking cabal. Any list would be helpful in guilt-shaming globalist predators, but I’m not convinced it would lead to arrests or jail time.

The way in which the Trump Administration has approached the walk-back appears to be the biggest fuck up of Trump 2.0. It is uncharacteristically bad given how well they’ve executed just about everything else on the Trump Agenda bucket list. Were they unprepared, over-promised, and then realized they’d have to under-deliver? I doubt that.

But to say there’s no actual list? No, there-there at all? Or are they using it for its intended purpose against people who expected their side to have it to Make America Great Again? In other words, are we supposed to trust them (not a good idea, no matter who is in charge of the government).

But then this happened.

Congressional Democrats called on Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday to release Epstein-related evidence allegedly mentioning President Donald Trump.

Democratic Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman led Committee Democrats in a letter demanding that Bondi release any Epstein-related evidence allegedly referencing Trump that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have withheld. The letter follows the agencies reportedly concluding that there was no evidence that the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein maintained a client list.

I’m happy to take any Republican to the rhetorical woodshed when needed, but is it at all possible that Team Trump is playing the left? It seems like an awfully long con if they are.

Patel and Bongino come out insisting Epstein did kill himself, to much outrage. Now Bondi is back, saying that the list on her desk wasn’t “the list,” and Karoline Leavitt is running the press office cover. No Administration gets everything right, and given all the cleanup left by the Bidenistas, this is way down on my list of things to fix, but what if?

What if it was meant to tap into the knee-jerk TDS-riddled Dems’ compulsion? They really want to see these files now because they think Trump is implicated. But wouldn’t Trump know that, and if so, he’d never have gone anywhere near the narrative, nor would he have allowed his people to promise to release that Kraken.

Democrats, of course, think he’s an idiot, so placing the 4-D chess narrative against that reality, it is feasible that Team Trump knew this would happen.

Democrats, who couldn’t care less or insisted there was nothing to see, got their wish when the DOJ agreed with them, and now they can’t stop themselves from demanding the release of the documents.

They had to see that coming. So why not release what you can? Something more than white binders with stuff we already know. Give these Dems what they want, especially if it implicates their leadership, who have yet to protest the demand.

As for me, beyond the low-hanging blogging fruit, I’ve little interest in the ‘List.” I’d rather see the files on the Las Vegas mass shooting or that missing binder with all the Crossfire Hurricane stuff in it. I’m even itching to see who the Chinese weed cartel paid off to let them operate in Maine and Mass. The DOJ has arrested a handful of top dogs, and I wonder if they might catch up some names in exchange for shorter sentences.

Clapper and Comey are being investigated for the fake Russian collusion scheme, a project with a list of names all its own, who need to be questioned and possibly indicted. I’d like to know who in the government is fomenting treason, from swamp leadership to dissenting staffers. Get rid of all of them – and thanks to the US Supreme Court for giving Trump the nod to clean out the pencil pushers he thinks we can do without.

We’ve also got Dems on the hook for inciting violence and then the actual violence against ICE agents and federal officers. That speech is not protected by the First Amendment. That needs to be stopped as quickly as the riots – investigate the perps and the people funding them. Arrest and incarcerate criminals on the street or in suits.

I can think of a few other concerns, but that isn’t meant to ignore or distract from the problem of child and sex trafficking. It is real and pervasive and in need of exposure, but do the Epstein files tell us about more than a potential CIA honey-trap? Do they show us the machine that kidnaps kids and exports them as slaves around the world to creepy billionaires who never even met Jeffy Epstein? Can Team Trump address that problem regardless of what they know about Epstein and, let’s face it, because of it, but they can’t share or it will wreck the longer game?

I don’t know.

Epstein’s victims are real, and they do deserve justice. And, now that Democrats are demanding it, will we find out who on their side doesn’t want anything having to do with it to be public?

And then there’s Promises made, promises kept. Trump is keeping a lot of promises. Is there more to be gained by pretending this thing is a nothingburger, whether it is or not?

Will we ever even know?
