With a Side Order of House Cleaning by RFKJ
The Trump Administration just fired every content creator working at Climate.gov. It has sent shockwaves through the green graft community. The Climateers are worried the new Administration might “turn into a propaganda website for this administration, because that’s not at all what it was.”
Not at all what it was? That’s all it was!
Lindsey said she also feared a “sinister possibility” that the administration may co-opt climate.gov to publish its own anti-science content. Lindsey said the administration could now “provide a content team from the Heartland Institute, leveraging our audience, our brand, our millions of people that we reach on social media every month. That’s the worst-case scenario.”
That’s a good one. The Obama and Biden appointees who created and staffed Climate/gov were not neutral and focused on the science, unless you are talking political science.
Climate.gov was created to be a climate scaremongering mill for the Handmaiden media. A clearing house for quotes, charts, graphs, and partisan “expert” commentary. The home of the manufactured consensus. Sell the fear (clinically) so the press can cite “independent” government sources, and everyone pretends this is legitimate and above the not-so-rising water.
It worked, sort of, for a while, but after COVID, a few million more people were less likely to view it as a credible source. They took a dim view of everything the government had to say about everything. But it was still there, giving hope to the believers by pumping out partisan climate garbage for the media lapdogs to regurgitate.
For over a decade, Climate.gov was marketed as a neutral purveyor of scientific truth, but in practice, it functioned more like a taxpayer-funded echo chamber for IPCC-aligned climate narratives. It presented “consensus science” as gospel, projected model predictions as inevitable fate, and treated carbon dioxide—a gas essential for life—as a pollutant to be morally condemned. All in the name of “public education,” of course.
Climate.gov was a room full of Climate Winston Smiths’ tasked with rewriting history to advance an economic philosophy and the destruction of Western civilization.
Climate.gov is not dead. Much like many of the other things Obama and Biden Democrats put into place with the belief they’d always control it, the new Administration likely has plans for this vehicle, and I’m hoping it is a lot like what RFKJ just did with the FDA Vaccine Advisory Committee. That bought-and-paid-for body of rubber stamps got fired this week. Seventeen bitter clingers were handed their walking papers and replaced (so far) with eight scientists whose job will be to consider public health instead of Pharma profits when reviewing vaccines.
It includes signers of the Great Barrington Declaration and experts like Dr. Robert Malone.
The Left is losing its hive mind, so you know RFKJ has done good. We expect a similar level of outrage once Trump’s folks have reimagined all the propaganda tools left to them by Barry and Joe at Climate/gov.
