The former First Lady of the United States (FFLOTUS) was known for being prickly about how people referred to the wife of the then recently “elected,” though (at the time) still contested, future President Joe Biden. It’s “Dr.” Jill, they said, which for someone with even a legitimate Ed.D from a respectable univiersity is something of a joke within the rest of the credential community.

Kyle Smith, writing at NRO, in late 2020, reminds us that Jill Biden’s Ed.D came rubber-stamped from the University of Joe Biden (DBA: University of Delaware). Kyle uses many more words to describe this situation, but boiled down, Jill getting a “doctorate” from Delaware would look a lot like Ukraine getting a billion dollars.
Picture Lunchbox Joe staring down at U of D along the barrel of a grant-funding howitzer. The University of Delaware likely said, “Doctorate? How about in education?” However, there are no initials one can add to denote a degree achieved through blackmail or extortion, which should be fixed.
Women and gender studies degrees strike me as near the top of that list.
And calling Jill Biden’s “doctoral” thesis garbage is an insult to refuse.
Jill Biden’s dissertation is not an addition to the sum total of human knowledge. It is not a demonstration of expertise in its specific topic or its broad field. It is a gasping, wheezing, frail little Disney forest creature that begs you to notice the effort it makes to be the thing it is imitating while failing so pathetically that any witnesses to its ineptitude must feel compelled, out of manners alone, to drag it to the nearest podium and give it a participation trophy.
I remind us all of this because people who insist you call them doctor, especially in the field of Education, are riding on the perception afforded medical doctors prior to the response to COVID. Oh, he’s a doctor when in fact, as one witness overheard at a wedding where the groom was one, “he’s not that kind of doctor.” Jill wasn’t that kind of doctor either, and not even in the field by which Joe leveraged her an Ed.D. But that was how the Media Industrial Complex wanted us to perceive it in the months after November 2020.
Filter that through all this “Biden has cancer cover-up” business, and it’s that much more fanciful and pretentious. And while I feel bad that Joe is going out like this, though not as much as over the years of elder abuse his family put him through, you have to want to laugh in the faces of everyone who insisted we call her Dr. Jill with all the connotation they intended.
We knew they lied about a lot of things, but the further along we get, the more lies and cover-ups are revealed. All from a group of people obsessed with making sure you know just how superior they are to the rest of us when they are, in fact, just politically connected, well-dressed street thugs leveraging any angle they can imagine to pull off the world’s largest grift.
Which they did.
The continual and systematic fleecing of everyone and everything for their own benefit.
So, no, I’m not sad that Joe’s post-presidency didn’t turn out to be the payday the Biden Crime Family hoped it would. So, I have to ask. While it looks like deflection to escape other embarrassing news, is telling us he’s about to die, just another way to make some money? And once Joe passes, is there anyone in the Biden family who has already packed for a non-extradition country with whatever leavings they can scrape together from more than a decade of Joe using his office for personal fun and profit?
And will Jill insist they call her Doctor when she gets there?
