H.G. Wells was a prolific author. Some of his stories were science fiction, which I read as a teenager. My recollection is that his most disturbing story is “The Island of Doctor Moreau”! In Robinson Crusoe fashion, Edward Prendick finds himself isolated on an island in the middle of “NOWHERE”. Dr. Moreau’s gift uses vivisection to create human-like hybrid beings from animals.
Unfortunately, the treatment of our children in American society reminds me of H.G. Wells’ Dr. Moreau. The medical profession has promoted, either actively or by silence, the transgenderism of children. As mad as Dr. Moreau was, he never conceived of encouraging a child to deny her/his God-given sex!
I find it extraordinarily distressing to live in a society that promotes little girls to be boys and vice versa. May God return common sense and sanity to our medical profession, culture, and society. Our children deserve better.
