So many examples from the last four years indicated we had lost our collective minds. That statement may not be entirely fair as it was just the Democrats in the position of power that were stripping the country of common beliefs and replacing them with WOKE ideas. This philosophy was taking the country down a crooked path for adults and confusing the hell out of a generation of young people.
The Left had a two-pronged attack to succeed in their mission with the media to influence the adults and the Department of Education to indoctrinate the young. If given more time, there is no doubt the Progressives would have claimed victory if not for the perseverance of Donald Trump, who recognized he was the only person who could lead a movement to derail the Woke Train.
We had a regime that could not define a woman but insisted on biological boys competing against biological girls. They do not want to use the term Mother, but instead use “Inseminated Person.” Have they proof of an inseminated dad giving birth? I do not think so. They want women to have the right to abort a newborn up to the moment of birth and even give them options after birth to decide the fate of their child, but then declare they are the party of the children. They “lost” over 300,000 migrant Juveniles who crossed our border, with or without parents, and are now possibly in the sex trade or being used as unlawful workers. Yet, they claimed the border was secure, even after ten to fifteen million illegals entered our land.
We are discovering through DOGE how our tax dollars were being abused and corruptly redirected to countries near and far when that money was desperately needed here to fight homelessness or the tragedies in Ohio, California, Florida, or the Carolinas. Instead of being irate over the abuses, they are attacking Elon Musk for the process of finding the misdirected monies. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had similar agencies established, but they never gave them any power to uncover the schemes.
For eight years, Trump’s first and Biden’s term, we heard the lies about Trump’s allegiance to Russia and how Putin was controlling America through their puppet, while the Democrats had no issue defending Joe Biden, who was in no condition, physically or mentally, to run a scout troop, let alone a country. They still beat the same drum, using the Ukraine conflict as proof. It doesn’t work, just like denying the Hunter Laptop didn’t work. They talk about Elon Musk running the country and how having him in a cabinet meeting is a security risk. Yet, they were okay with Jill Biden presiding over a cabinet meeting or Hunter Biden being a special consultant to the Big Guy.
It is sad that the Left and the media still have any following with the plethora of lies they have been caught in. They still parade Adam Schiff out every Sunday as if he is the host of every talk show and follow up with Chris Murphy (D-CT) or Seth Moulton (D-MA), who spew Democrat talking points or hyperboles. The noise is getting unbearable, and the ratings show it is falling on fewer ears, but none of that is enough for Democrats to change course. If they want to die on WOKE Mountain, good luck and good riddance. Common sense is making a comeback, and there are no seats for Progressives on this train.
