This week marked the end of the first month of the second Trump Presidency. It’s only been a month. Feels longer, yes? In a good way. Not for the Swamp creatures. Democrats and bureaucrats (almost always the same thing) are lawyering up against risk of lawsuits while others have filed scores of lawsuits. The proglodytes defend wasteful spending, lawbreaking, and the obstruction of Democracy. And you’ll be happy to know that’s not about to stop.
Team Trump continues to deliver daily broadsides, shock, and awe before deep-state denizens can get back on their feet from the previous sally. A political and cultural shift that Victor Davis Hanson calls the counter-revolution.

And we’re just getting started.
The rest of the next four years lie before us. Another 47 months of Trump during which he does not need to worry about re-election or running for an offer, though I suspect he will make time to promote whoever convinces him, and they will continue the work he started. JD Vance, the current VP, seems like the logical choice, and while not everyone will agree, he does have qualities we’ve not seen in a Vice President for some time. He’s competent, capable, thinks on his feet, demonstrates common sense, and can engage a person or a stadium audience without notes or a prompter.
And he can wrestle handmaiden media reporters into a corner of their own, making about as well as anyone without getting flustered.
If something happened to 47, we can rest assured that his VP could carry the counter-revolution forward, the return to America the Beautiful. A powerful, productive nation that values hard work and perseverance.
We’re not there yet. Not even close. The evil on the left will not go quietly into that good night. But the way Trump’s administration has structured and delivered on its promises has forced the deep state to dance to his tune and into places they are unlikely to succeed.
Donald Trump promised America transparency and accountability for their government, and the first month demonstrated how serious he was about keeping those promises.
He’s got 47 months left to see it through.
